He is always incredibly excited when we go over how well my lab mix, Trouble, has healed after no one, but two different surgeries on the same leg. I always have and will always recommend this vet clinic to any of my friends, family and acquaintances!”

I’ve been going to VCA Parkdale for years and never thought I’d find another vet like Dr. Saxon after she left — but Dr. Henry is truly exceptional. My dog Cooper developed sudden weakness in his back leg, and she was able to get us in on a Friday, which I appreciated so much.

She was incredibly thorough with her assessment and so gentle with him. Cooper has a lot of anxiety, and she handled him with such patience and compassion. The techs were also amazing — they immediately noticed how anxious he was and let me stay with him while they drew his blood, which helped him tremendously.

Dr. Henry took the time to explain all possible treatment options and differentials and made sure I was involved in every step of the decision-making process. When the bloodwork came back, she reviewed everything with me over the phone in such a clear, validating, and empathetic way. She never made me feel rushed.

I am beyond grateful for the care she provided. Dr. Henry is truly outstanding, and I couldn’t recommend her enough! Blessed to have crossed paths with her!”

“I have been taking my dogs here for the last several years. Recently, I had to put my oldest dog Yogu down. My wife called and made an appt to have him euthanized. On the day of the appointment, we checked in, and they took us immediately to a room. In the room, they had a blanket on the floor. The vet tech came in and walked me through the procedure and offered me some options. Before we started the procedure, they made my boy a final meal. They happened to have donuts and some goodies in the back. They treated him with such compassion. Huge shout out to the whole vet clinic in making his final minutes peaceful and caring. Yogi is now pain-free, and I can't thank the staff enough for how they treated him and me at the end of his life. R.I.P. Yogi Bear.”

“Took my cat Bean in for what I thought was an ear infection or ear mites. Doc said his ears looked great and asked what I have recently changed. Only thing was a new wet food. Turns out my Bean is allergic to chicken. Stopped everything to do with chicken after comparing the ingredants from dry food to the new wet food and connected the dot's relating to past issues with food we had. Issues quickly went away, no more head shakes and ear scratching. Spot on Diag!”
