Kitchen & Bath near Plainfield, IN

“We initially contacted BGW Construction regarding a large home addition and detached garage project we had been dreaming of for years. The scope included a new Master Bedroom, a spacious Master Bathroom, a walk-in closet, relocating our laundry room, a large 2-car post-frame detached garage, and a large covered breezeway connecting the new garage to the house. Bringing this vision to life required a top-tier team, and BGW was wonderful to work with!

Our initial consultation was with Brandon Fries, who came to our home to discuss and scope out the project. Brandon was extremely pleasant to meet with, and we jived with him right away. He represented BGW exceptionally well from day one.

Throughout the build, we worked closely with our assigned project manager, Kevin Sloan. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Kevin; he was extremely detail-oriented, which we truly appreciated. As our primary point of contact, Kevin helped us:

Design various floorplan options and finalize a design, providing invaluable 3D renderings along the way to help us visualize every concept.

Develop an accurate and realistic budget for the entire undertaking.

Fine-tune a final proposal that fit within our budget.

Navigate finish selections, from doors and windows to siding and beyond.

Kevin was extremely responsive, a fantastic communicator, and felt like a true advocate for our project.

BGW handled all the planning and permitting seamlessly. Once we received city approval, the project kicked off immediately.

We were thrilled to find that the majority of the hands-on construction was performed by a single primary crew, Godwin & Albert. A multi-month project can feel invasive, but seeing the same friendly, familiar, and trustworthy faces in our home each day made all the difference. Their craftsmanship and quality of work were top-notch. Even Phil, their plumber, was an absolute pleasure to work with during the brief time he was on-site.

Kevin Ladd was our on-site contact. He did a fantastic job coordinating contractors and ensuring the build matched our vision. He also personally performed the grading work around the addition and driveway to guarantee proper drainage. Like the rest of the team, Kevin’s responsiveness was top-tier.

BGW’s technological approach and financial transparency set them apart:

They utilize Jobtread, a centralized dashboard for messaging, photos, documents, and invoicing that acts like a private social network for your build. With so many moving parts, having everything documented in one place was invaluable.

Their itemized scope of work featured transparent pricing for every line item, with invoicing tied strictly to milestone completions—an upfront and fair system for everyone involved.

When it came to the finishing touches, Jeff Eastman was wonderful to work with on our punch list. Jeff never balked at any of our requests and made sure every minor detail was
addressed, while always being very enjoyable to converse with.

Even the owner, Bobby, personally stepped in whenever needed throughout the project. It is clear that Bobby has put together both an exceptional team and a polished set of operational processes to guarantee a smooth, enjoyable client experience.

BGW allowed us to be active partners in the project every step of the way. We always felt heard, respected, and included. We are extremely grateful we chose BGW Construction—they truly made our dream home addition a reality!”

“We had an AMAZING experience with Lee Cook during our shower renovation. He was quick but thorough, professional, and he explained everything to us to make sure we comfortable with what he was doing at each step. This was our first renovation so we were a bit nervous but his calm disposition helped ease our nerves. Truly can’t not thank him enough for making our first experience as enjoyable as possible and I wish more handymen were like him! Cannot thank him enough!”

“We just purchased cabinets from Cabinets To Go and we're so impressed with the quality of product. Also all the help from Rory. He spent so much time making sure our order was perfect and through the process he was just a call or text away. This is probably the easiest project we've had. Thanks Rory for all your help and thanks Cabinets To Go for a quality product!!”

“An absolute pleasure working w/Exotic Era Stone.
Worked w/Maddison & our new kitchen counters were installed 3 weeks later.
The crew they sent were very thorough in the installation process. We had a small issue w/some glue left on the seam & the crew was back 2 days later & fixed the issue.
Definitely recommend this company-we will be returning in a few months for our bathrooms & laundry room counters!”

“They have a variety of almost everything. Their prices are reasonable and some what cheaper than a lot of other stores. We loved Ollie's Bargain Outlet and will be going back soon.”
