“One of the better dollar stores to shop at. Very decent selection of quality items. Honestly I was surprised at how much brand name stuff there was. Understaffed tho, there's only 1 register and the self checkout machine is hit or miss whether it's working or not.”
“WELL out of all the other Dollar General stores in Richmond this is the ONLY one I shop at. The store is always very clean and u can ACTUALLY go down the aisles without a problem. They always have everything Im looking for.The staff always greets me as soon as I walk in the door and walking out I always get have a nice day! They are awesome! And the store Mgr. Is very friendly and will go out of his way to help u!!! Love this store and the staff ?”
“Each time I go there everyone works there. They’re very sweet. There is a couple ladies that work there that will talk to you like your friends. Also, the guys that work there they’re nice they’re friendly. They always ask how you’re doing, which is great. I love going into a place to where they are like thateach time I make a new friend and I recommend that store. I love fighting new deals new things new items in there. She’s pretty cool.”
“I needed a pink rug for valentines bathroom and I didn't want to spend alot for less then a month of decorating so I found what I needed for a good price and quality was good for what I needed.

“The DG on the south west side is cleaner, more organized and stocked better than the others with the exception of the NW 5th st. store. Most everything is off the floor and on the shelves out of harms way. The employees do a great job putting merchandise on the shelves, and not kept on the carts all around the store.”

“Just today, I went in to grab a Gatorade, and my card would not go through no matter how many times I tried. The nicest man who was my cashier today was so patient with me and even bought my Gatorade for me. I had no expectation of him to do so and even told him he really didn't have to, but he insisted. Can't remember what his name was for the life of me, but I really appreciated his help today. Made it a little more tolerable walking home in the rain on the way back ?”
