“I found an item on the shelf for $3.95 whole I was at self check I mentioned to the lady that was the incorrect price, it came up as 6.95. she took it back the shelf. when I was done checking out I went back to the freezer section the item the item had been replaced no price changes had been made.i went back up to the register, told the lady about the price being 3.95 like I thought she said I know. I mentioned that I was then going to go ahead and purchase 2 items she stated that I was not... she refused to let me... and let went to the item at that time to change the price on the shelf. The items were priced at 3.95 I have a picture of the sticker... and she refused to honor the price of both item. stated that the only way I could talk to a upper management was to purchase my items and it would then have a number on my receipt. she also stated that the items now have a new price, the old price sticker has been covered up. she told me I could stand there all day, she would not honor the price that was on the shelf. pretty sad for the store manager”

“Visited on a Sunday around 1240. Shopping with another adult. Lighting was adequate, store was over stocked and maneuvering a cart through aisles proved difficult and impossible at times. Staff was seen stocking and cleaning, and cashier was friendly enough. Many options in clothing ranging in all sizes. Housewares, baby accessories and holiday items on display.”

“I just want to recognize one employee for always being so happy to help and really knows her stuff when it comes to finding items. Her name is Jessica but I'm not sure of her last name. She is what makes my shopping at Dollar General enjoyable. She can always tell me exactly where to find what it is I'm looking for. She has even helped me load items into my car. One night I witnessed her bring over a chair for an elderly lady to set down in while waiting for her daughter to finish shopping. I thought that was so kind of her. You can tell she loves what she does and thats what every employee should be like. I've been to almost all the dollar stores in Owensboro and have yet to see an employee as friendly and happy as Mrs. Jessica. I don't know if she will ever see this review but I just wanted to say thank you sweetie!”
