“I've been having issues with my car and the exhaust. I took it to Larry and he scanned my car, diagnosed the issues, fixed my exhaust while staying 2 hours after closing on a Saturday to fix the exhaust for $60!!!! He explained to me the issues and ordered parts for the next repair which he also gave me a very reasonable price for and guidedme as to which issue we need to tackle next!!! I highly recommend this guy for women that get taken advantage of by mechanics. Very honest man!!”

“i had been doing all of my auto repairs myself. now that i am over 70 years old and have bad knees and a bad back i guess i should trust someone else to do it. I drove around the area and talked to several repair shops. then i thought since i have purchased tires from Lynwood firestone for many years i would talk to tino. just so happens one of my wheel bearings was going bad. so i took it to lynwood firestone and asked for a quote. I talked to tino for awhile and liked his knowlege and professionalism and decided to give him a go at it. they did a great job. They handle all my maintenance and repairs now. I highly recommend them.”

“I've been going to Vic's for five or so years now. He only advises what really needs fixed and checks it over. I won't trust my car to anyone else. His rates are reasonable and his wife and him are very friendly. I teased them about not recommending them anymore because it gets harder and harder to get in there. It's totally because of his service he offers. He is also good about telling you where to go for other things he doesn't work on. If you want a good job at a reasonable price pick Vic's.”
“You know I have never had a fantastic experience like this before, or a most honest mechanic and owner as I did in Harold at Widco transmission. I took our mountaineer in to have my transmission rebuild and Harold called me a week later to let me know it wasn't the transmission at all. It was a problem with the drain plug and a crack. He fixed the crack changed the fluid out and fixed the drain plug. He saved me hundreds of dollars. I bless you Widco and thanks so much Harold for your utmost honesty. “You can't go wrong with Klarer. When your car is scheduled to go in, it does. From tune-ups to struts, you're covered. But if a mechanic tells you the cause of a fault needs to be addressed, you should listen. As an industrial mechanic, I can fix a machine and see the root cause of a fault that needs to be repaired. The machine will run just fine until it breaks sooner than you think. It is cheaper to take care of the whole issue right away. Think about it.”
“Rebuilt trans and new torque converter in my 02 Cherokee almost a year ago. Had to go back once due to minor shift cable linkage problem. Definitely wasn’t the cheapest option but it is one of only few places that still rebuilds transmissions and offered a year warranty. If you get a check engine light for tcc or notice any problems shifting in your jeep, get new torque converter and checked out right away. The converters are known for breaking apart and then damaging your entire trans. Learn from my mistake.”

“I was referred to Competition Transmission and it turned out to be a great referral. After examining my vehicle Joe suggested, because of what he found I take my vehicle to Mastertech for repairs which were not transmission related and come back to him for a transmisson flush. I followed Joe's instructions, got those repairs done and went back to Joe for his service. Now my vehicle is riding like a new vehicle. I'm very pleased and would recommend his services for anyone who needs his services. I previously went to another shop that stated I needed a new transmission and quoted a price of $6500. Sure happy I got a second opinion from Joe. He saved me a lot of money.”
