Gilmer Park Animal Clinic
6751 IN-931, South BendI had been asked to take care of a pet rat during the Christmas break and unfortunately things took a turn for the worse and I didn't know what to do. I called Gilmer Park Animal clinic because I was told that they dealt with small animals and to my surprise they were available to see me the same day. I am a huge animal lover and even though this pet rat was not mine I was very very attached to him and I was extremely upset when I called and even more so when I came into the clinic. Every single person in that building treated me with respect and compassion and they treated this situation as if they had known me for years. I honestly was overwhelmed with how compassionate everyone was there. All three receptionist, the doctor, the assistant, every single person made me feel that my emotions were justified and that we never know how much an animal can affect us until they're gone. They always say that first impressions mean the most and I have to say this is 100% the case with this clinic. My first impression started the second they answered the phone and my impression only grew more positive by the time I walked out of the door. I would like to also mention that the doctor was so sincere in the things she was saying and HOW she was saying them... She really listened to me as I shared my sadness in the exam room and basically told me she was here to answer any of my questions or concerns and to take my time.. even the way she took special care and slowly wrapping him up gently in such a loving and caring way that made him look as if he was simply sleeping... I mean it takes a real special kind of person to show so much care and compassion in moments like these. I never once felt rushed as though I could have asked her 10 more questions if I had them. She was truly amazing and I will never forget her. I just want to thank all of you for what you did and what you said to me today and for taking the time to answer my questions and letting me not feel rushed or embarrassed for my strong feelings I had for that lil guy. The time and care you took with me will never ever be forgotten. Thank you so much and I'm so glad to know that you are literally right around the corner....I will definitely see you again.

401 E Colfax Ave Suite 104, South BendFirst time at the cafe and I will most certainly be back. Took my 7 year old daughter into the cat lounge and we both had a wonderful afternoon stroking and playing with the gorgeous kitties. The staff were all super friendly and the overall feel is very chilled. The cat lounge is very clean and relaxed and you can tell that the cats are so well taken care of and loved.
I would highly recommend this experience for any cat lovers or perspective adopters.

321 S Main St Suite 105B, South BendI love coming here. My top favorite is not pictured and it’s the weekly house potato salad they come up with. I got the weekly special, and shared a pretzel and it was so delicious, filling and always fresh.
My favorite drink is the Pink Pony Club although I tried the Vodka Cranberry Lemonade last night and that was delicious.
I love that they have vegetarian options, as my best friend is a vegetarian and it’s a safe place for him to eat food.
Staff is always amazing, I love when it gets packed in there it’s usually filled with lots of laughter.
Bonus- music BINGO!!!! So much fun.

I didn’t feel left out, my drink still felt festive! The vibe is calm and intimate. The bartenders are kind and sociable. Definitely worth checking out!

The ladies at the front desk were so nice and quick, making checking in and out very easy, and answering all our annoying questions about the area. The bartender was amazing and delightful, as was the gentleman at the starbucks. Overall, this has to be one of the best hotels in the area. A big thank you to you all for making our stay so pleasant.

After talking with some of the staff, I was told about their wings which are smoked and then fried, so of course I had to try them. They were absolutely delicious, without sauce. I will be back to try some with the sauces.
