“This was my first time visiting Valvoline Oil Change. I expected it to be like any other oil change, quick in and out and minimal conversation. However, I was greeted warmly, I was advised and educated on decisions, and my favorite part, they “checked” my oil level WITH me. That was something new, it gives that extra sense of security. Considering I’ve dealt with a faulty oil change from another business before and it kind of scarred me that gave me reassurance. I will definitely be revisiting Valvoline for all my future oil changes moving forward.”

“Took my 2010 Hyundai Elantra in a few weeks ago. They replaced my clutch and continued working the problem when I still couldn’t get it to shift into first. They are dedicated to customer service and amplify integrity when it comes to resolving an ongoing issue. I really appreciate all of their hard work and recommend them over any other auto repair shop.”

“I always go to this location for oil changes. The crew remembers me and my silly car alarm. I like going here because it's often the same employees, who are efficient, personable, and kind.”

“Had an appt for them to check out my brakes and suspension and within an hour of their having opened (I'd done overnight drop off), they'd called and advised what was necessary versus what could be postponed along with a really good recommendation of how long each of those things could wait. I got a quote for the things they were going to do that was extremely reasonable, and when I came in to pick up the car and pay only a few hours later, it was actually over $100 (maybe closer to $200) less than even the quoted amount, so to say I'm happy with them is an understatement. On top of that, the service advisor was super friendly. I'd been nervous to take my car in bc I'd never gone to them before but also haven't really gone anywhere in Indianapolis for significant repairs since moving here, but am wicked glad I went to Ty's.”

“Jiffy Lube service is always quick and professional. They always go above and beyond. I've been a customer for about 13 years and I have always been satisfied!”

6401 N College Ave, Indianapolis IN 46220
“The service was quick and easy. I’ve had other places walk me through the reasons for each additional suggested service and show me the oil levels afterwards, which is an extra step of reassurance. I mostly was uncomfortable because one of the employees was wearing Ray Ban glasses with cameras built in. I have no idea how to navigate a world where we can now be recorded while doing simple chores and where the filming would go once it’s done. In a world of constant recording and now AI manipulation of videos, Ray Ban glasses at work just make me uncomfortable. This is not a slam in the employee or anyone who helped me, because the service was professional, but it is something I think more employers need to be aware of is happening.”

“Mears Automotive completely turned my week around! The night before my birthday, I walked out of work in the dark after all my coworkers had left and my car simply wouldn’t start. We’d never used Mears before, but had heard great things about them, so I asked for it to be towed there and hoped for the best. They figured out the problem, gave me a very reasonable quote and despite hitting some bumps along the way, they stuck to that quote, all the while making sure my car was completely taken care of. I know for a fact we’ll be back in the future and we can’t recommend them enough! We’ve been searching for a trustworthy, competent and reasonable mechanic shop since we moved to the area 5 years ago. Now we’ve found that and more!”

“I had an amazing experience with Advance Automotive. I was helped by Josh, who was incredibly professional and very thorough. I had my car fixed within a day. I really liked their after hours drop off service, since I was not able to bring in my car during business hours. They provide you with a free diagnostic service as well! I am highly satisfied and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get their car serviced.”

“The oil change was quick but I had accidentally pushed the accelerator ( I use hand controls) and not the brake and the tech said brake lights were working which means he did not check them. As to checking fluids, my car was in the shop a few days later and the Power steering fluid was low. There was a leak due to a hose. The tech said the fluids wer fine. It has made me doubtful that the fluids are being checked but I will continue to go to valvoline since my mechanic caught it. The techs are very nice but need to be sure they are actually doing the 18pt inspection.”

“I went to R&M after another shop had messed up suspension work on my vehicle. They were extraordinarily helpful and took the time to both explain and show me what was wrong. As a college student with very little knowledge of cars, I appreciated the help in sorting out the situation. They were also able to diagnose other problems that were missed in a previous inspection by a different shop. Highly recommend if you are in the market for a new mechanic.”

“Highly recommend and shout out to the manager Jimmy. Took my truck in and was having some issues after, he agreed to completely change it out again for free. My truck is old, doesn’t have a dipstick so they can’t measure, we were unsure if that was even the issue but still agreed to do it. Will be returning.”

“Went in to look at some options and ended up buying same day. The dealership worked with us to get us a great deal on a great car. Jonathan Maleckar was so accommodating and helped us narrow down what we were looking for in our next ride, and Shawn Eberwein walked us through payments and terms. Everyone was fantastic and friendly!”

I would definitely come back and recommend asking for Clarence.”
