“I've had bank accounts at OCSB, IU Credit Union, 5/3 Bank, Old National, and others. OCSB is the best I've ever had to deal with. I am surprised by the negative reviews. Maybe one bad employee in the past or something. I've had them help me through check theft through the mail, positive pay, and I trouble them for notarization several times a month and they never have been rude or complained once. Some of them know me by name by now when I come in. Also, a few years back I had a significant car accident that I really shouldn't have survived, and they sent me a signed card from many of the people at the bank. Now I didn't know any of them or have any relationship with them before opening an account there, so it isn't like it was known people or a buddy or something either. I encourage people that I know and family to bank with them, because if I had one bank that I had to deal with navigating any financial issues with, they would be it.”
“I like Peoples State Bank. They're locally owned and it's free checking. I know that 99% of banks charge a late fee if you overdraw, but it's your money. If it was deliberate, then yes you should pay, but if you miscalculate by just a few cents then I don't think you should have to pay an overdraft fee. Overall, Peoples is a good bank”
“Tammy is absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very friendly, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to help. She made everything so easy for us and explained everything very well. Definitely recommend”
