Im giving this rating as it can be difficult to find a size youre looking for even if they have what you need in stock and if you do find an item you need, it can be pricey. A sale can be found and then the line has been unreasonable the last few tikes Ive been in and it does detour me from going. They use to have several check out counters and now only the 1. If you're shopping the mens section, you use to be bale to enter on that side and check out on that side, now you have to go to the womens section. Ive used ulta check out which isnt equipped for clothing and other purchases, soace wise but it beats 10 plus people waiting in front of you at any given time during the Holiday season. It might not be this way year round. I do like JCPenneys and recommend.

The staff here at this store feel more like family than staff. All associates me and my family encountered were so helpful and friendly. That being said we could have shopped longer if not for the blazing hot, stuffy, sticky conditions of a store with NO air conditioning!!! James Cash Penny would roll in his grave to see his associates cooking to death in his store. There were some Corporate members in the store that were ignoring all of this as they glided around the store as if it were gilded in gold. The store manager told me that the air conditioner was being looked at today, but as everyone in Terre Haute knows, this store hasn’t had proper A/C since the 70’s. The public restrooms were filthy get this store some janitors. I’m putting JCPennny’s on Notice, you are not looking out for your associates like you need to, I over heard an associate talking about how she needs glasses and a ride to her job, it’s time to remember who you are JCPenny’s, your founder was committed to his employees and provided an honest, fair and quality product. If you give your best to your associates, they will give you there best. MAKE IT RIGHT!!! And please don’t patronize me with some,” Bobby thank you for your honest review “. TAKE CARE OF YOUR WORKERS. Loose a bonus or Three and Respect your Founders Legacy “ The Golden Rule”!!!

The two sales people were very friendly and helpful! However store was VERY warm and due to medical issues, didn't have time to get all I needed to. Please get AC fixed...

Went to find some clothes for an interview. They had 1 choice for what I was looking for. The better shirts are geared for a much older crowd. Decent shoe shoe selection just not in my size. Saleswoman did approach me to see if anything was needed. **beware the air conditioning unit barely works and check out area is using a large industrial fan to keep cool. Overheard cashier state it was installed in 1980. Apparently they aren't going to update, has been this way over a year. Also the small child/baby are is dwindling and no longer much to choose from unless you are looking for Disney costumes and various toys
