Had chorizo tacos and they were hot and delicious, and not greasy! Service was prompt. Short wait for food. Cheerful atmosphere. Will visit again. Fair prices.

Authentic Mexican food with tons of great flavors. Prices are within reason, which is unusual these days. I’ve had the carne asada and also the shrimp & steak fajitas. Both were really tasty yet the shrimp & steak was a superior dish to write home about. If you get a seat in the front you can see the food being cooked and the waiters doing their thing, if not there’s a large room in the back with more privacy.

The tables have bottles of red sauce and green salsa for the chips & general flavoring. Be wary of the green - it's the hot one!I got The Platter which is rice, refried beans, and choice of meat with 3 corn or flour tortillas. I chose chicken and flour. The portions were just right for a late lunch. The chicken was more than enough to fill the 3 tortillas. I put rice, beans, and meat together with red sauce & green salsa. The iced tea had a floral taste which may not be to everyone's liking. I found it a nice change and they gave me a full cup to go as well. The service was friendly and slow paced so I didn't feel rushed.

While we had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated on a Friday evening, our meal was worth the wait. The chori-queso is a great start to your meal alongside the complimentary chips and salsas. The prices are hard to beat.

I ordered the Torta Cubana at counter for carry out . Big Sandwich . Filled me up for around $7. Alot better than anything at McDonalds. In and out in 10 minutes.??Curbside parking is my only complaint. But I got lucky and there was a spot available.

We came into the restaurant around 5:12-5:15pm. We were seated in the back where looked like storage was kept. We had places our order for drinks and specifically asked if they served margaritas and the waitress told us yes but it was in a bottle so we ordered an unsweetened tea, waters, and a Margarita for drinks.... Food was two kids quesadillas, a carna asada burrito and a fajitas plate. Took a little over an hour just to get our food.....which was mediocreand bland as hell, the kids quesadillas was just a tortilla folded in half and only two pieces..... really?? Then they brought us a strawberry daiquiri that was made from Margaritaville - that's not a margarita, the tea tasted old and dirty, the salsa tasted like watered down ketchup...... we were referred to this place by a friend and I must say we will not be returning. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Luz Tacos has authentic Mexican cuisine. They also have a nice little grocery in their store front, which caters to the local South American culture. We enjoyed a variety of quesadillas, nachos, and burritos with a friendly family dining experience. Our biggest eaters (teenage boys) had full tummies while trying to finish their plates! I absolutely loved the steak & rice dish (of which I don't know the name) I ordered and my granddaughter loved her chicken nachos! All at a surprisingly affordable price. You will not be disappointed!!!

Always amazing food at a decent price and very friendly staff. I live 45mins away and make the drive just for the food.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Maybe it’s the people that are only used to Americanized Mexican restaurants. ??♀️This is the closest thing to the authentic place, food, and price that you get down in Mexico. By far my favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere in the near vicinity and that includes probably all of Indiana and Ohio! If you don’t like it then you probably don’t actually like real authentic Mexican food.

Had to ask for napkins, the taco sauce was water in a ketchup bottle. My plate had food stuck to the bottom. Waitress never checked back. A child was riding a scooter in the restaurant another kid sleeping in the grocery store part. Personally I would never go back. Whoever rated this as best Mexican restaurant must of been real hungry or on drugs. Where is the Health department. Nasty dirty place
