I was going to wait until I moved out to write a 1 Star review but we haven’t had more then drips of water out of our bathroom faucet or shower in over three weeks. A week ago they finally acknowledged the problem and were supposed to fix it, told us the water would be shut off for any amount of time between 8-5 on 10/10. Ok, maintenance has to happen, that’s fine. What’s not fine is the company canceled and Launch didn’t notify residents that water would not be turned off (so I could have used the bathroom today in my apartment rather than going to the Rec room every time). On top of that they haven’t rescheduled, which means I’m going onto week four of having to wash my hands in the kitchen sink and shower at the Rec room. This is just the latest installment of the absolute horror story that has been living at Launch. Stay tuned for the full expose when we move out of this hell hole.Edit: Hey, here another concern, your phone lines don’t work, your emergency line (which is guaranteed in the lease) is also out of order. We were told we could shower and use the bathroom in the Rec center for the MONTH we are out of water, but the toilets are literally overflowing with feces, the shower is covered in dirt and pubes, there is no hot water, there is no hand soap, there is no toilet paper or paper towels. Much like this company, the trashcan is overflowing and spewing out trash.Edit: Because the emergency line doesn’t work I went in on Monday morning 10/16 to ask for an update and was yelled at by property management. It was hard to understand them through the spit that they were spewing in my face as they SCREAMED at me but I think they called me unprofessional and inappropriate for going into the office to get an update and complain, that I still don’t have water after a month.

Updated because my review has gotten worse. This is a group of highly dishonest people who do not care about you as long as they have your money.I won’t be staying at launch another year after my experience. As every other review says, management does not care about getting things fixed. They’ll tell you it’ll happen and then it just won’t. And when maintenance comes by, they don’t actually fix the problem at hand and even brush it off. It can take months and having to make phone calls just to get one small thing fixed.I’ve had a huge problem with roaches at my apartment over the summer and have called twice. The first time, they said pest control was coming on a certain day. Nobody came by. The second time, they have added me to the list and told me pest control will be stopping by soon, but after the first attempt I’m skeptical if they’ll even come. I’ve found roaches in my fridge, drawers, crawling in through the front doors, etc. I’ve gotten sick because of this issue and don’t feel comfortable or safe living at my place. This has been frustrating for me to deal with. The people are nice, but nothing gets done unless you call and tell them how much you need it fixed.Update: so they’ve continuously lied to us, added us to the pest control “list” twice. The last time I went, they said pest control was stopping by the next day, which was a Monday. Monday morning my roommate decided to stop by the office and make sure someone was coming, and she was told they were not coming that day but just sometime this week. Nobody stopped by the entire week. They do not care at all and have been dismissive and passive aggressive throughout this whole ordeal. If they weren’t going to do anything to help us with this problem I would have appreciated being told that upfront, since this has been very stressful and harmful to my health. At the very least be honest.Every single person I’ve talked to who also lives here regrets signing their lease and has been lied to in some capacity by this awful management, and I think that says enough. Dishonest people don’t even deserve one star.

felling very bad, this is because when we first move in there, there already have people live in there, and say she already have pay for the rent, after that, the stuff move me and my roommate to new apartment. However, when I reach there, every thing is dirty, the oil and the table and everywhere. Also the most worst thing is no laundry room. The stuff move us to a new place with no cleaning and laundry room but the rent is same. That is very impossible. It is not our fault but we have to give up our apartment and move to a worst one. The feeling is very bad. And also, I forget to mention that they cancel my name on the list with no reasons so I have to come to the office to fix with this. The feeling in launch apartment is very bad. Every thing is uncomfortable

PATHETIC MANAGEMENT !! Do not recommend anyone to opt for Launch. They have no courtesy whatsoever. They made us pay for a completely different apartment and ended up giving an apartment that doesn’t even qualify housing standards. And they are extremely rude when questioned about this, asking the guests to opt for any other place of living. All of this, when you arrive on the Day 1 of your lease. Do not recommend anybody to book a housing with them. Utterly unprofessional and mean, instead of being apologetic for their mishandling. Would rate in negative if I could.

An absolute joke of a management company. All of the negative reviews on here are incredibly close to the truth. The apartments themselves are nice (unless something is broke — then it takes maintenance 5-7 months to fix anything). You have to pay for washers and dryers that never work and produce dirty clothing. Most office staff is really nice but don’t seem trained properly or know answers to questions. Managers are rude and are super disappointing to talk to about anything. Overcharges happen like crazy and no one can ever answer a question straight-away. Before moving in, we decided to ignore the reviews & give them the benefit of the doubt.. don’t make the same mistake we did. You will regret living here.

The place is nice, but how they deal with the services and maintenance is their worst problem:-Its been more that 2 months since I left my apartment, and I am still waiting for the return of my security deposit.-I requested maintenance services twice and they took about a month in coming.-The laundry usually does not work well, either the washers or the dryers have problems.-I could never use my debit card to pay the rent online.-The trash got accumulated twice by the time I lived there.Positive things:-The people in the leasing office is very nice.-The gym is small, but you can do a good workout with what they have-Having the lake and green zones makes the places relaxing.-Close to Purdue campus, you can go there by walking.

My experience with Launch has been far from satisfactory, primarily due to the persistent issues with their active building portal. As a tenant, I expected smooth and efficient communication regarding my payments and other concerns, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. The active building portal, which is supposed to facilitate seamless communication between tenants and the leasing office, has been plagued with problems. Using credit or debit cards does not work, in and accessing important information has been a frustrating ordeal. This has resulted in unnecessary delays and added stress in managing my lease because it has been more than 3 months that appears I have to pay twice.

Horrible management in general and of the property. The staff are extremely unorganized. Maintenance takes an absurd amount of time to fix the issue at hand, and we’ve been over charged on rent and utilities multiple times. The place is outdated, smelly, and way too expensive for the quality of the apartments themselves, it’s constantly one problem after the other. Avoid this place at all cost, save your time and money for literally anywhere else.

The living experience in launch is bad. Do not recommend anyone to live here. The public places in the building are not cleaned for more than half year and smell so bad(they promise to clean once a month which is already low frequency but they still cant keep the promise). The garbages collection place are not collected more than two weeks even in the summer. The whole place is smelly. If you come to visit launch. Dont just go to the places that the staff show you, you should walk around launch and come into some buildings in launch. You will see how bad the environment in the buildings is.Update: the garbage has not been collected more than two weeks in the summer. The whole launch smell bad. Although the stuff always say they are aware of the problem and has dealed with the problem, the problem never been solved. I hope the photo speak more than my word.

Horrible management. They make us pay extra for renters insurance even with own renters insurance and showing proof of the same. On contacting them, they literally say " not our problem ; contact the third party". Extremely slow maintenance and irresponsible management. Closes the maintenance request without anyone ever showing up. And the non-working laundry facilities are left unrepaired for more than a year now.

The community is big and has good amenities especially within walking distance from the university and good eating options. Management is open ears to any issue and is resolved within a reasonable time. The apartments is pet friendly so the dog parks comes handy and my pup is adored on walks.

Its a great place to live! Great ambiance and well maintained Gym! I like how Launch organises game night, pizza party and many more. The place is very safe and they have got great study/hangout places too in the club house!

I filed a work order for my bathtub faucet to be replaced around November 10th (it is January 10th now) or so when it was just a slow trickle. In that time people came to fix it three times but no one was successful. Despite the fixes not working and the faucet still leaking, Launch would close the work order. I have made roughly weekly trips to the office in person to remind them to fix my faucet. I have also recommended they call a professional plumber to fix this issue as it seems to be something more complicated than their own site handymen can fix. I'm not sure if it's related but I did notice the apartment below me the other day had the servpro guys in it and they were clearly cleaning up some sort of water damage issue there. Last month I brought how this was an ongoing issue up to their manager who did offer me a credit on my water bill, however, that credit was never added and I paid the full price of the water bill (most of which was water that had leaked out). Finally today, January 10th, 2 months after I had filed the work order, maintenance arrived unannounced to my apartment. The first I knew maintenance was inside of my apartment is when one of the workers opened my bedroom door while I was asleep scaring the living p*** out of me. Over the course of the day they disassembled my shower and around 5:30 packed up and left. They had left and come back at multiple times during the day but this time they just left for good and I only ever found out they were gone when I called Launch Apartments emergency line to ask about the progress of the maintenance (the picture below is how they left the apartment). They never notified me themselves they were gone for the day. The man on the emergency line, although very polite and professional, had no real solutions for me as my shower, toilet, and entire apartment water had been shut off. His best solution was that I could use the toilet in the gym (about a 10 minute walk) to relieve myself. He said they could not call a 24 hour service plumber to fix the job and I would just have to live without water until the job was completed, which he said would "hopefully" be tomorrow morning. I should note too, Launch management has made no effort over the last 2 months to rectify the issue with me. This is truly my breaking point with Launch between the abysmal customer service and poor maintenance now leaving me paying rent for an unlivable apartment. In some states this would actually be grounds for withholding rent but unfortunately Indiana is not one of them. Because of all of this, I would give Launch a 0/5 if it was possible and would recommend anyone avoid this apartment complex at all costs. I am willing to change my review but it would take substantial effort from management to rectify the situation, which I highly doubt I will see. Until then though, all I can say about Launch is AVOID AVOID and AVOID.In case anyone wants to mark this as a false review or contact me my name is Ethan Carlisle and I live in unit 1506. I will be happy to share my experience.
