Alight West Lafayette offers quality-for-the-dollar apartments near Purdue, with good community amenities. The apartments come with nice furnishings and very good internet. Residents only pay for electricity, which averages a reasonable cost. The staff is generally helpful, responsive, and consistent, with quick responses on work orders. Maintenance requests are addressed without a long wait. There is flexible parking and new kitchen appliances, though some installation issues can occur. Some residents report occasional random charges that require clarification at the office. The location has a distance from campus, which can be difficult on weekends despite bus service. The apartments are not luxury, and the supplied mattresses can be stiff. Overall, experiences vary, but many find it a good place with seamless living for the price.
