βLove the fresh produce and wine selection here. And the seasonal aisle with all the gadgets. Bought a mini air compressor to fill pool inflatables 20 yrs ago. Set me back $20. It's still going strong and doing its job. Also, deflates.β

βFriendly staff actually,hate to say it but you don't get that often at Aldi's because there so overworked. Worker walked me over to a product I couldn't find and then when I checked out,went straight to the belt and another worker had a smile the whole timeβ
βLove this store it's always organized and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They were short staffed I saw one young lady cleaning, stocking and ringing up customers. Even still she was so sweet and helpful.β
βThey've got really good quality meat, and prices are very fair. I like that they're adding more no salt added products! And the bags of red delicious apples ? so yummy ?β

βAfter getting ? at the long wait my grands endured at McDonald's a few feet away I came in Aldi to get me some ground beef onions bell peppers (yes an ol school healthy burger) those shiny brioche buns and potatoes..all under $16 for a family of 4..to teach my grands a lesson who spent $20 for 2..this Aldi was clean stocked friendly and safe. I will be back when I'm in Gary. Kudos to this Aldi.β
βAlways a great experience at Stracks. They ( almost) always have what I am looking for. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff! The front of house team is amazing and go above and beyond to help. It's like an upscale kroger but not as expensive as whole foods if that makes sense. I wish there was one in my area, I usually go to Valpo, Chesterton, or Cedar Lake stores when I'm in the area. Great store!!β
βThis is my favorite dollar store! ? I buy all my toiletries, snacks and food here. They have pretty much everything now even meat produce, vegetables and fruit.
Not to mention the staff is amazing! I have built very strong connections with each and every one of them. They are very friendly and helpful. :-)β
βIt's ok. There's normal things in stock. The staff know the store. The prices going up just like everyone else. There's a huge parking lot. You need a quarter for a cart, unless you're lucky and snag one in the lot.β
βBest tamales and rice around!! We moved from hobart but still make the 20 minute drive when we want a good meal. 35 bucks will get you 2 dozen tamales a large order of puerto rican rice 2 loafs (bags) of delicious Mexican sweet bread and 2 2liters of soda. Worth every penny for 2 full meals for my family.β

βThis is the Aldi in Plymouth. Indiana . store is clean, very well stocked, and has a vastly larger selection than most other stores. The carts are still selling for 25c. Plenty of parking.β

I found several bargains, lots of variety. I purchased 3 pairs of shoes, dog treats, watermelon... Great deals on all.
The place has very wide aisles, very clean, super friendly staff. No issues.β

βIt's still our favorite place to shop in NWI. We live in western Tennessee. There aren't any Meijer stores there. They have everything you could possibly be looking for, all reasonably price. They are great stores!β
βThis particular Dollar General is very well stocked. They surprised me with the variety of things they sell, including vitamins, toiletries, household products, personal items, food items, and so on..... I return to purchase toilet paper, tissues, vitamins, and snacks. The store is well organized. They also print out coupons frequently on the receipts. Free parking available outside, and handicapped accessible entry. They don't offer restroom facilities.β
βThere is no sign outside, so a little hard to discern, but itβs directly across from Broadway Music. Large variety of fruits and vegetables. Donβt let the warehouse vibe scare you off. The staff is super friendly and eager to assist you. Ethnic food products abound for Greek, Mexican, Filipino, Italian, African, Polish, Russian and Indian cultures. Iβm probably forgetting some but you get the idea. The prices are very reasonable. Just double check the produce your grabbing is fresh. They do have some fruits and vegetables that are bit on the older side but mostly itβs all fresh.β

βI stopped for gas at the Meijer gas station. Was getting scratch tickets for my Mom. The cashier, I canβt remember her name, but it ended in βolaβ. She was so very patient, and kept saying no problem, no worries, and she took time to make sure you were taken care of. If you know gas stations, people are just in a hurry, rude, and very impatient!!! This was not my experience. She definitely displayed that A1 service, so stop by and tell her so!!β
βFIRST TIME VISITING THIS LOCATION ON 03/07/25 AROUND THE 2:00PM HOUR IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE STORE WAS CLEAN WELL STOCKED PLENTY OF DIFFERENT CHOICES ESPECIALLY THE HOT FOODS DEPARTMENT. THAT IS THE AREA WHERE THE FOOD ( DINNERS) HAVE BEEN PREPARED FRESH AND U ARE EXPECTED TO REHEAT THE ITEMS LATER VIA MICROWAVE. YOU ARE ALWAYS EXPECTED TO CHECK FOR EXPIRATION DATES. THAT IS WITH ANY STORE PARTICULARLY STORES SELLING PERISHABLE. THE PRICES ARE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THE COMPETITOR BUT IT WAS CLOSE SO I DECIDED TO CHECK OUT THE LOCATION. SO I WAS IMPRESSED FIRST TIME AROUND AND WILL BE GOING BACK BUT WILL BE VISITING OTHER LOCATIONS/AND THE COMPETITOR IN THE FUTURE.β
βA decent place for traditional Hispanic/ Mexican groceries, a bit tight for aisle space but stocked with a good variety. They also have a taco spot in the rear of the store with decent tacos and such.β

βLots of Balkan and Mediterranean groceries, also lots of great Indian groceries! A wonderful, immaculate store with dairy, fresh vegetables, snacks, pickles and dry goods.β
βThis is where I regularly shop. The employees there are great. Always helpful. I am disappointed that I have to go to another Strackβs in Merrillville to find a product that used to be at my Hobart storeβ
βThey have very nice people that work there and they are very up to date. They have cool stuff in the store and they never have the same stuff it's always different stuff which is a good thing. They have a lot of items that are cheap and $1. It is also very accessible to the people that live in meadow view estates right behind the store.β
βA thank you to Michelle the manager for making things right over a discrepancy in the weekly ad. She could have said too bad for me but didnβt. A rare exception these days, customer satisfaction over profit.β
βThe Workers Are Nice but I Guess Short On Help and the Place Always Looks Filthy. Owner Should Hire a Couple More People For Help. Store Needs a Good Cleaning!!?β
βThe staff here is so friendly. The store is always well stocked and clean. Rarely do I see one of the big carts full of things to be put on the shelf that block isles in most dollar generals. It's my go to DG.β
