I found this place charming, in an unpretentious way. My stay was undisturbed, and I enjoyed looking out the window with a view upon some of the quiet goings-on of a small town on the prairie. There is a little vegetable garden at one corner of the hotel. I'll be sure to stop here again on another long cross country drive. If you are an enthusiastic fan of the simple life like I am, you'll like this hotel.
One old man was sitting on a chair outside as if it was his front porch. This is a good place for that, though not if you want to look at something fancy.
