“We had a very positive experience! I found the perfect washer & dryer set within about 3 minutes at a FABULOUS price and the rest was painless! The sales associate took the time to give me a few pointers which I genuinely appreciated as I haven’t owned a washing machine with an agitator in over 10 years. But the best customer service came 2 weeks later.
I thought something was wrong with the washer, so I called & left a message (they hadn’t opened yet) and got an immediate call back upon them opening. They kindly walked me through troubleshooting… and honestly it was entirely user error ? but they were so encouraging & helpful through that process that I’m confident they truly mean it when they say they stand behind their sales! Well absolutely be back for any future appliance needs, because THIS is the kind of business ideals I choose to support!”

“Had a customer service issue on 02/11/25. Went to the SE 14th store in Des Moines to get it taken care of, or get the best advice.
The issue was handled fast and promptly, with a friendly smile. Even asked me afterwards if there was anything else I needed assistance with. Wow, what service in a home improvement store!!
I have been to menards, lowes, and other Home depot's in the west des moines and urbandale area (where I usually shop), and never, never have I received friendly service like I did yesterday. just wow! This was the first time I shopped at this location. So, it was a great first impression.

“Last Saturday, February 22, my wife took me on a tool shopping trip to the Home Depot in Ankeny Iowa. Along with their outstanding selection, the customer service was fantastic! Oscar was very friendly two or three different times, as he helped me with a return and to figure out which cordless power tool I wanted. Jen at Customer Service Was fantastic in helping me with my return. Nic was friendly and helped me find the outdoor section, aisle 54. And Melania had a great smile and was so generous in helping us check out, especially with the power tools and complicated gift cards.

“We have a goal to start a small backyard garden this year and came in to get the lumber needed to make 2 4x4 ft raised planter boxes. We were able to order what we needed at the back counter and then went around the building to the self service lumber. We were really confused how to find our items and a little intimidated by the self service saw, but Paco found us and grabbed what we needed on his forklift, then cut the lumber for us. All we had to do was load into our small suv. We tried to leave a cash tip but he wouldn't take it. This was a huge time saver to us when we were in a rush and I am very impressed. Thank you paco!!!”
