370 36th Ave SW, Altoona“I visit here often. Being in the heart of altoona with really friendly staff willing to help at the drop of a hat. Everyone is smiling it's great. Plus they have a good selection of woodworking brands. Seems like they had an answere for all my questions. I definitely would recommend them.”
“My lawn tractor has a flat tire. TSC thankfully had a replacement tire. They also provided me with some suggestions of where I can take the new tire to have mounted on the rim. Definitely coming back when I’m not pressed for time. So many items, they probably have what you need.”

2200 E Euclid Ave, Des Moines“Always have a good experience with the folks at the Urbandale Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Been a customer many times in the past, volunteered a few times for local housing builds, Rock the Block, and their Winter Warriors projects. Was just making donating some surplus goods from handyman jobs this time. But Tim the assistant manager was really helpful with a few questions I had about some other jobs I’m doing. Give em a shot. You won’t be disappointed.”
“Grate place for building supplys don't go to this Menards vary much but it is a good one..i don't really have any thing negative to say about this one..i give it a 8/10…”
“Ray B. and Rick were a PHENOMENAL help and ensured I had absolutely everything I needed for my project. This was my second trip aided by Ray's expertise, and both him and Rick represent the kind of men that everyone wishes they had around (in general). Kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and willing to go the extra mile! Thanks again guys!!”
“Extremely helpful and even though I didn't get anything still helped me figure out what I needed! The effort put in was above and beyond, definitely coming back for more projects!”

6000 SE 14th St, Des Moines“As a contractor, I have to purchase material almost daily and Menards usually has the cheapest prices for almost all the stuff I use, plus you receive an 11% in-store rebate which adds up very quickly. It's nice getting $250-350 every 3 or 4 weeks to use towards a project. The one major downside is the delivery service is way overpriced and they don't offer stocking drywall any longer, Lowes will deliver to any job site for $20. Weigh your options carefully.”
“We have a goal to start a small backyard garden this year and came in to get the lumber needed to make 2 4x4 ft raised planter boxes. We were able to order what we needed at the back counter and then went around the building to the self service lumber. We were really confused how to find our items and a little intimidated by the self service saw, but Paco found us and grabbed what we needed on his forklift, then cut the lumber for us. All we had to do was load into our small suv. We tried to leave a cash tip but he wouldn't take it. This was a huge time saver to us when we were in a rush and I am very impressed. Thank you paco!!!”
