“McManus opened about the same time I moved to Altoona 27 years ago. The business remains in the family as well. Mechanics come and go from shops but here I’ve had the same mechanics work on my cars for years. Many times we’ve discussed options, needs, and cost. Never once have I felt they’ve tried to do a repair I didn’t need. They’ve also referred me to dealerships when a repair is under warranty and I wasn’t aware. I recommend this shop.”
“Now I know we all have a good days and we have our bad days and I came up to Iowa from Texas decided to get my tires rotated. I don't have anything bad to say about these people I think they did a great job. I had some hesitation based on experience from the Dallas area. But these people were very courteous they kept me updated they went out of their way to try to provide the service anyway they could to meet my needs. I highly thank these fellows for the great job they did. I'm sure there's a lot of variables time of day how much the work load is, I personally did not make reservation I had some question about that because when I looked into it they didn't want to make a reservation till like 11:00 that was a little bit crazy I thought. But overall it was a very good experience and I was on my way thanks again”
“We broke down coming into town and barely made it into the parking lot they got us in immediately and made sure to tell us what was happening every step of the way before doing anything more to the truck. They stayed within our budget and made sure to get us back on the road that day even though the parts for our truck were hard to find and they kept finding more things wrong.”

“The amazing gentlemen here saved the day! We (3 ladies) are from out of town with 3 little girls and woke up to a flat tire. They got us in right away and we were back on the rode in no time. And they didn't charge us! They were professional, kind and understanding. I saw the interactions between them and other customers and they were just as courteous. I highly recommend them.”
