“First time buyer from this shop. I was looking for a specific discontinued fabric and this was one of the only stores in the U.S. that had it. I needed a little bit more than the amount that was listed for purchase and I made a note of this in my order. The same day, I get a text letting me know they had about a 1/4 yd more of my fabric and inviting me to call them to place a phone order (bc they can't charge more than what was authorized for the online purchase). I spoke with someone on the phone right away and she was so kind and helpful in getting my order changed. I ordered on a Monday and my fabric was delivered on Friday! It was packaged very neatly, the cuts are accurate, and I'm very happy with the whole experience! I will definitely be buying from them again for future fabric needs.”

“Recently had a dryer repaired, and the whole process took about two weeks. The techs themselves were friendly, and the dryer does seem a lot quieter afterward.

Ended up paying about $140 to diagnose the issue.
Was told the parts were available in a kit and verbally estimated that the repair would cost about $160.

The repair happened the next week and I was charged $307. The total bill was a little over $446.

I'm not sure how an estimate could be so off, and had I known what general cost was going to be at the outset I would have weighed other options.

EDIT: I was eventually contacted by Ken's appliance and they did refund the difference between what the estimate was and what I was initially charged. Given the quality of the work and this service, I would do business with them again!”
