“This has been my local corner store for the past 9 years of my life, I play the lottery here almost every day (powerball or mega millions). I am unhappy that this gas station has not sold me the winning ticket yet. Other than that, I like the fountain drinks and the points I can accumulate which have sometimes landed me free food items :p”
“The staff were pleasant and friendly. The food was well stocked and they had delicious donuts. -1 star for the awful bathrooms, they looked trashed, but the rest of the place looked clean and actually pretty nice.”

“Nice Kum & Go here in Ames, IA off I-35 Exit 113. The store is quite different on the inside when compared to the others that look like this style in the fountain/coffee area is right next to the kitchen like a Casey’s. Normally, the fountain is just on the right side of the store and the kitchen is on the middle at the newer stores. I got a 44oz fountain drink, 2 slices of sausage pizza, & some Trident Gum (Spearment). The total with tax came to 9.39. The cashier was very nice and friendly. The store was very clean & organized. “I had a problem with my car while getting gas. A Hy-Vee employee in a Hy-Vee van had pulled up to the adjacent pump and offered assistance. A Hy-Vee gas employee came out and helped me. Both employees were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.”

“This Casey's location is fantastic! The food I ordered (pizza & french fries) was made hot, fresh, & delicious! Our customized order selections & instructions were followed exactly as we asked for. The two men that were working this afternoon (both in the kitchen and at the registers) provided prompt, professional, friendly service, & they were very attentive to customers. The atmosphere was lively & welcoming, with a clean environment. I'm not sure what more you could ask for! I'm honestly a little surprised by some of the negative reviews this place has & I wonder if those people even selected the correct location to leave those reviews for, because this is one of the best Casey's I've seen! Thank you for providing this high standard of quality & service that should be expected in a Casey's location, when it seems recently so many other locations have fallen short of that standard & gone downhill. We really appreciate still having a really good one near where we live!”

“I truly hope someone at corporate takes a moment to read this, because I want you to know just how much I genuinely enjoy shopping at your stores. Every time I walk into a Kwik Star, it’s like stepping into a place of comfort and reliability — a rare feeling these days. From the spotless aisles to the warm smiles of your employees, you’ve created something special that feels less like a convenience store and more like a home away from home.
I honestly prefer to do my grocery shopping at your locations over any big-box chain. The quality, the freshness, and the thought you put into every detail — from your dairy section to your ready-to-eat meals — make it clear that you care about your customers. It’s a simple kind of excellence that speaks volumes.
My only disappointment is that your stores aren’t available down south — in Oklahoma, Georgia, and other areas I often travel to. As someone who moves around a lot, I find myself missing Kwik Star every time I’m away. There’s a sense of nostalgia and comfort tied to your brand that no other store quite captures. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I visit — full of wonder, excitement, and appreciation.
I sincerely hope you’ll consider expanding into the southern and southeastern regions. There are countless people who would appreciate what you’ve built just as much as I do.
