Hours: Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa is a fiscally sound non-profit organization supported by area faith communities, businesses, and service groups. It builds and remodels homes, having completed 58 homes. The Ames Habitat store is awesome, clean, and the best organized in the state. It offers a large variety and great selection of home improvement items, furnishings, and almost everything at really affordable and reasonable prices. The staff are all really nice and helpful, and delivery was friendly and careful. Sales support the organization's mission and its tithe to Habitat El Salvador. It is a gem and a great place to shop for unique items while supporting a good cause.
