A call-out for Jason Quinn who is now based at Skunk River, doing custom frame fitting. Jason helped me correct some original fit deficiencies and to adapt my road bike to my older body. He has both the expertise and the equipment to diagnose fit issues and correct them. Highly recommended!

Was in the market for a new cross country capable touring bike. Worked several weeks through several visits and emails with Ron, Andrew, and Jason to decide on the best choice. Went with the Salsa Marrakesh and really pleased with the initial impressions like ride, look, feel, etc... Look forward breaking it in over the next few months. The whole crew at Skunk River was great to work with from full blown professional bike fitting that took over an hour to deciding on final bike choice and other components like fenders and shoes. Over the years their mechanics have also been first rate, reasonably priced, and a pleasure to work with. They've even provided tips to help reduce future visits.

Least intimidating bike shopping and repair experience I've had in a long time. Great selection of high quality bikes for sale, mostly new but also occasionally used. Repair situation is great. In my experience, most repairs have been quick enough to take care of while you wait, which is completely unknown in my previous experience of bike shops. (I'm sure some repairs don't allow this, but it's never come up for me so far.) It's right downtown, which I mention only because it would be a pain to have to ride my bike to a part of town that isn't all that bike friendly. Pricing for repairs is also reasonable and in some cases they've simply not charged me. Hope to never be back! (hahahaha) but if I do, I know there's a reliable repair shop close to my house.

I’m trying to get back into biking after over a decade and I’ll be coming back here. They have a lot of size inclusive biking gear. I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the gentleman who helped us. He was so gracious and patient with my very curious 5 year old.

Stopped to drop off a bike that needed some small repairs and they took it in on the spot, made the repairs, rode the bike to check that it was good, and charged me a reasonable amount of money. Impressive!

My husband I went into Skunk River to get his bicycle up and running again and got all the help we needed making sure we got the right sizes and parts and extra great advice on how to make the fixes go smoothly so he can get out and start riding again quickly! Very helpful and friendly.

I enjoy doing business at Skunk River Cycles. The staff there is always extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I showed them an older bike that I had purchased from Facebook marketplace; it wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be on my test ride, and I was worried I'd wasted my money. They helped me adjust it, and with a small investment in a new handlebar stem it's now my favorite bike for longer rides. In addition, the staff took the time to explain some basic mechanical maintenance items to me. They have a wealth of knowledge about vintage bikes and don't mind sharing it. If you've never been in a real bike shop before, don't be shy! Go say Hi!

Stopped in to look around with my wife, we received such great service. No pressure sales, the individuals working (and owner) took the time to explain everything we needed for two novice riders. Went home with two bicycles and all the gear we needed to start riding. Will be returning to this place again!
