“I had a great experience picking out my dress at Rosalie ? The one-on-one appointment with our group and Chloe felt very attentive and relaxing. The selection in the shop is incredible, and I loved how versatile it was while still aligning perfectly with my style.

When I found my dress, I asked Chloe if we could make a few adjustments, and she responded without hesitation with an “absolutely.” I could tell she had a strong relationship with her designers, and she took photos of the changes I wanted to send so the dress would come custom.

The tailor she recommended, Glorious Alterations, was also amazing. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

However, there were several unexpected costs throughout the process that left me disappointed. My original dress budget was $1,500, but after purchasing my gown and adding alterations and a veil, I ended up spending nearly $6,000. The additional costs added up quickly and were much higher than I expected.

The alterations were very expensive, and while the quality of the work was excellent, budget-conscious brides may want to consider having alterations done elsewhere. We also often felt rushed during fittings.

Another frustration was the groom's tuxedo process. The boutique advertised a deal on tux rentals, but they didn't have any tuxes in-store to try on. I left work early for the appointment only to find out we would be looking through a catalog, and they wanted an additional $50 just to have a tux shipped in for a fitting.

The final disappointment came when I picked up my dress. After spending nearly $6,000, I was told it would cost another $40 if I wanted to take my dress home in a proper garment bag. At that point, I had to draw the line and ended up taking my dress home in what was essentially a large plastic bag. After making such a significant investment, it's hard not to wonder why a garment bag couldn't be included.

Overall, I love the dress I found here and appreciate the quality of the alterations, but I wish there had been more transparency around costs and a more customer-focused experience throughout the process.”
