Travis the manager was the only person to help me from the company of Verizon. I have talked with many reps from many departments via phone, text, chat and email with NO help. Travis got it done. Thank you.

We went in to upgrade our phones, the guy who “helped” us was very rude and told us we couldn’t without updating our plan. We were helped by the same guy earlier in the year with a different issue and he was rude then too. Later the same day we went to a different Verizon location and the guy who helped us there was very kind and helped us to upgrade our phones without changing our plan. I would recommend to use a different location rather than than this one

Was in the store to pick up, a phone on October, 3. Salespeople were all busy with other customers. The only positive comment I can make is one person took a moment to help me. I was just there to pick up a phone that was supposed to have been dropped off that day. He couldn’t find it, and the manager in the back, was of no help. The salesman went back to his customer which is reasonable. Manager never once came out to help figure out what happened to the phone. Waited approximately 20 minutes, tried calling the store directly, only number takes you overseas to customer service. I had come out of my way to do a quick pick up and had somewhere else I needed to be so couldn’t wait indefinitely. Called customer service again, so I could get a direct number to the store, number given had the right area code, but routed to overseas service again. At this point I’m considering canceling my order and looking for another service provider. I’ve been with Verizon all of my adult life and have seen them devolve in their customer service. You can no longer call without going through hoops to try to speak with a live agent. Cell service is and has always been the best, but if they are no longer making an effort in the personal service, I can do without. This is not my only complaint with Verizon, but it is my breaking point.

I visited this store location at 2325 SE Delaware Ave, Suite 100,Ankeny, IA, 50021 at around 12:45 PM today (9/27/23), looking to give my phone to the store as a part of a trade-in that I had request days earlier. The person working with pink/purple hair (I unfortunately didn't get her name) stated I needed to provide ID, so I left.I come back hours later with ID, and, somehow I don't need to show ID to this person (the manager), or anyone for that matter, so I am not sure what is going on at this store. At best, the young woman who attempted to help me earlier doesn't know her job, has an unconscious bias against people of color, or worst, she's just a flat out, unapologetic racist who of course should be fired.I brought my complaint up to the manager of this store (this was about 5 PM today, 9/27/23), and he claims he would address the issue with her, though I'm not 100% convinced that he will, but nonetheless, this review is warranted.I'm annoyed because I don't know the earlier associate's intentions when she asked for my ID, when she had to have known she didn't need it (she wasn't going to be accessing my account), and also, I had to make TWO trips just to drop off a phone.

Just buy whatever you need online. The online chat people know just as much as the folks in the store. We just spent an hour sitting there while she tried to figure out how to get to the same rate I'd found online myself last night. Gave up and came home. Will probably still get the phone and the line, but won't waste my time in store and will just do it myself online.

Very little interest in helping an existing prepaid line probably because there's no commission. The man told me if I want help beyond getting my phone working (that hasn't worked AT ALL since day I got it activated) I can call the 800number...... I'm upset w Verizon anyways that just added to it

I used to hate Verizon store, until my last visit recently... had a fantastic experience and I normally do not leave reviews. I also work at a retail and I would say , rep who helped me was super nice, helpful, positive and very relatable. I was treated like a close friend just having a normal conversation about a new phone. I apologized for forgetting his name, but would definitely hire him if he was to come apply at my job instead ?

My daughter stopped here today when having an issue with her SIM card failingAfter I had already called Verizon and they had fixed the issue (she didn’t know this) and all she had to do was update it. An E sim had been assigned already by the tech agent I spoke with. They told her we needed to pay our bill and it was a hardware issue she would need to replace it. They didn’t check the account that would show this info from the tech agent or anything else forcing her to drive 4 hours with no phone even though all it had to be was updated on wifi and reactivatedTried to call them no way to get ahold of them. Absolutely disgusted l. I would say the reviews I’ve seen are accurate for the bad service they give

Edit: My previous review was from a few years ago and was a bad one. My most recent experience was great. The rep was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very thorough, attentive, and patient. He made it known that he didn't want me to leave the store without my phone being 100% activated and ready.Old review:The employee helping us didn't let us know(nor did she know) that the Samsung S10 5G is a completely different size than the Samsung S10+. We picked out cases with her advising, and she grabbed screen protectors for us. Both the cases and the screen protectors were for the S10+. I was able to come back and return the cases since we didn't open them - but that was only because we found out they would be too small after attempting to put on the screen protectors first and realizing they were too small. I went in the next day and was able to trade in the cases, but they made me buy new screen protectors full price even though it was their representative who picked out the wrong screen protectors in the first place. She didn't have any malicious intent, but I would expect them to know what accessories go to what phones. I had to shell over an extra $60 and go in the next day because of their mistake.
