“My son broke down on I-80 one evening. The car was towed to Rick's. We figured it would be hundreds of dollars or more to fix it. Rick looked at the car. It needed a thermostat. Rick fixed it. He drove the car to make sure it worked well. It did. Rick did all of that for way less than I thought it would cost. Couldn't be more pleased.
The best part... Rick himself went and picked my son up from his hotel once the car was repaired, and brought him back to the shop. That's service- when the owner picks you up and gets you to your car. So, impressive.

“I honestly can’t say enough about Scott with Second Street Repair!
I was in a tough spot when my truck and trailer broke down on I-80, and Scott came to the rescue in literally under an hour!
Not only did he tow me to safety, but he also went above and beyond by fixing a broken transmission line that other local mechanics refused to touch because they thought it was too difficult or would take too long.
What truly stood out was his exceptional customer service. Lots of tow truck drivers/mechanics aren’t the nicest people but Scott was def 1 in a million! He was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything he was doing.
From start to finish, the entire process took under two hours, and I was back on the road in no time. If you’re ever in need of towing or mechanical services, I highly recommend Scott with Second Street Repair!!
