My husband and I stopped into the store on Saturday to look at the different fireplace options in person. We explained that we were building a new house in KY and even though they knew we wouldn’t be making a purchase through their store, the salespeople working were very informative and spent a lot of time explaining the products in great details to us. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a fireplace in this area. Thanks for taking the time, we greatly appreciated it.

Jamie has been helping me with my fireplace all throughout the process. I have never met such an amazing employee! He took the time out of his evening by coming to my home to explain more about the hearth and mantle as I was clueless. It turns out he has been with this company for over 20 years. There is a reason for that. As a consumer, I look for the professional advice and expertise when making home improvements. I am very pleased with this company and the people they employ…especially Jamie!

The original install date was pushed back causing me to have to get an extension on my construction loan. They installed the chimney backwards & water was draining the wrong way. The install was done so poorly water was leaking down the wall. I called & told them all this & they wanted to charge me a service fee to come do it properly. I'm not paying for something I already paid. She refused to take the service charge of over $100 off so I told them don't bother coming. Very poor business practice & customer service. I now have another company looking at it & they discovered they put the wrong boot on, the wrong vent cap, the moisture has caused rust & the logs were placed wrong. I would highly recommend using a different company.

I reached out to Fireplaces Plus because we wanted our LP fireplace converted over to natural gas. They took my information and called me back later in the day saying they were able to get the parts for the conversation, and placed the order. A week later they called me back saying the parts had arrived and scheduled the conversion, along with a quote.
Logan came out and did conversation, and did an excellent job! He arranged logs slightly different than they were before which gave everything a more realistic/authentic looking especially when the fireplace is on.
Overall very happy with Fireplaces Plus.

A big thanks to the people at Fireplaces Plus for helping me restore a 16 year old Mendota Fireplace. They helped me find a solution to an old remote control which had gone bad, new fans, and a new burner( burner under warranty). Today our fireplace is working good and looking great!

Amazing customer service. We had a artifical gas fireplace installed 6 years ago. We recently cleaned everything out including the logs. When we used the diagram to place the logs back correctly, we realized we were missing one. My husband called and spoke with the owner. He sent us the missing log at no charge! The log came within 5 days. Very happy with this company and love knowing there is still amazing customer service out in the world.

Local to Bettendorf, but not a good business. They make gas line pilot lot fire places work worse, not better. They do not do thorough tuneups in my family’s experiences. That in no way means they can’t work well for someone else; they just didn’t fit our needs and we moved on years ago.

Spoke with Keith about an issue with our fireplace. He was extremely helpful and gave us the exact parts we needed. He even spent time to draw out some portions of the fireplace based on the pictures we showed him and told us how to make it work better overall.

I've read these past reviews and scratch my head. This team was hands down the most professional and efficient in their install. I have an older home and they took extreme care in the installation of my beautiful Mendota fireplace insert. I'm so very pleased and will recommend them time and again. Hats off to a job well done!
