“The absolute sweetest team of people! My car got stuck in the snow across the street and I went into Teske to buy some cat litter or salt to hopefully get myself out. After explaining my situation in hopes of getting some recommendations, Eric and Grayson were kind enough to drive across the street and help me get myself out. They wouldn't accept any cash when I offered, just said to write a review. As a girl in her early 20s with little knowledge about cars, their act of kindness meant SO much to me! An amazing business that truly cares about their community and customers. I cannot thank the Teske team enough.”

“Amanda at The Paddling Pooch is amazing with my pups, and does a great job with their grooming. My dogs LOVE going there even though they are not fond of baths, they have never had any reservations about walking in that door. They get excited when we are there. Everyone in that facility is SO nice and helpful, and they have fair pricing. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a pleasant experience adopting our two cats last weekend. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful; even when the center became extremely busy and they were backed-up at the desk. The visiting rooms were very clean and full of toys/trees for the cats to play with and many were roaming around freely. They provided us with take-home food, toys, and thorough documentation to take to our vet. Jelly Bean (previously Nugget) and Goose (previously Croissant) adjusted almost immediately and are such a joy in our lives. Thank you, QCAWC staff!!”

“Ken Atwell is always focused on controlling customer flow while checking out. He always greets everyone with a smile even when both registers are 6 people deep. If he's not in management I'd highly recommend it. Good people are hard to find, don't let this one slip away. You can tell the other employees all work well together when he's on the floor.”

“We've been coming here for YEARS. Two of our cats have come from here, 5 of my pet rats have come from here, we special order large amounts of cat food, I've purchased some fish here, we regularly buy treats, food, bedding etc. We're very familiar with this place and have had many many good experiences.For the sake of the business, however, you should really have a word with this one particular employee and I'm sure you'd probably be able to know which one I'm referring to. Short hair, older lady, wears glasses. Not once, twice, or three times, but FOUR times this woman has been incredibly insulting, patronizing, and, frankly, incorrect.In the instance of me purchasing two Dumbo rats, she tried telling me I wouldn't be able to introduce them to my lone female because "rats can't be socialized". Which, that was a year ago and lo' and behold, they did perfectly fine together. Because they're literally built for socializing. That's ignoring the fact that she picked them both up by the tips of their tail--NOT the base. Knowing they were meant to be pets, I shouldn't be forced to feel protective of these animals I haven't even purchased yet because of how they're handled.When I went to ask about purchasing long term feeders for my fish, she got into an argument with my mother about water tower water being dirty and how our filter wasn't enough for US to drink it. Because she "worked for the water treatment plant for 20 years" or whatever. My question is, who cares? We weren't even asking about water quality. We wanted to know if they had long term feeders. THATS IT. We don't need to be patronized about water that you don't even understand.My dad went there today to make sure that he was buying Brussel sprouts because they were mislabeled last time and he ended up buying broccoli--he wasn't angry. Stuff happens. No big deal. He just wanted to make sure this time. Instead she tried arguing that they weren't mislabeled and that he should read the labels better. Tried calling him a liar that he purchased them there at all. Turns around--boom, other broccoli plants are mislabeled as Brussel sprouts. Keep in mind he only asked "are these Brussel sprouts, because last time I grabbed a plant that looked different". And instead of an answer he got called a liar.A while back, I went to buy male guppies. The nice man working in the fish section went to ask her because he was being trained and she tried telling me that it doesn't matter because male guppies will turn female when in a group with only males. LUCKILY, I knew better and made sure to pick out only males. For future reference, no: live bearing fish DO NOT change sexes. Some fish species do, NOT live bearers. It's fine to be wrong, but she's insufferable when pretending she knows what she's talking about.Here's a post I made months ago in my clueless pet owner group on Facebook making fun of it just to prove I didn't come up with this off the top of my head.I love this store and so does my family and there are so many nice workers here! But that lady is such an issue. If she happens to be some type of owner and reads this, then my advice honey? Please hire someone else and take a backseat.Anyways, I recommend this place just steer clear of this lady.”

“I use ROE for all my fish and tank needs friendly and knowledgeable family owned have been a patron for years! They have more options to choose from from fish, tanks, substrate, decor, then all the rest! Just an over all great place for the aquarium hobbyist!!!!!”

“Just had my cat groomed there for the first time. She’s my most special girl, but I’m the first person to tell you she’s a picky little lady and she’s a pain in the butt. But she’s my first long haired cat and I knew we had to do something about her paw pads (grinch paws!!!) and sanitary areas. My roommate always takes there cat here, and I thought I’d give it a go.
I was so nervous- what if she was a huge meanie? What if she got mad at other animals (I’ve never seen her interact with other animals)? What if she was so bad that they called me ten minutes in to tell me we were both banned???
We get there, it’s amazing. Olivia is an amazing groomer, her coworkers were so understanding of my worries, and they were so so so sweet about my cat being my cat. 1000% I will be visiting again. I know she was a handful, no matter how much they said she did a good job. Only the most amazing people working here.”

“Our 3 year old cat is a long hair, and we tried every brush out there to try and keep her groomed, but she just would not have any thing to do with us grooming her, so she became very matted and I felt the best decision would be to have her shaved, so We called Crystal and she was fantastic!!! “Here is a secret- If you Google an item and it says it's discounted online and the item is in store....you can go to the store get the item take it to the register show them the price you found online and they will give you the discount. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program. I just got flea drops for my 2 dogs 3 cats the total was $140--- got it dropped down to $80!”

“I've used their services for almost five years. Reliability is good, sometimes miss us because of weather, but always sends text. They have always made adjustments to our bill (next month) and yes they charge in advance. They are honest and trustworthy”

“Descent for the most part. Doesn’t stand apart from any other tire shop attached to a chain store. The Folks working the place seemed nice and was pretty quick for the most part and I got outa there in just over an hour tires balanced and rotated for the season.”

“I'll start by saying y'all did a great job with my pup. As any pet parent knows I'm a little hesitant when I take my pup anywhere to get something done, you can tell the people that work here absolutely love dogs. My pups nails look better than they ever had and it shows they actually took the time to shape them. Secondly her ears were cleaned spotless. The tooth brushing service was also nothing but the best they got most of her plaque and tartar off. So if you are looking for a new groomer these guys are hats off the best. Lastly they make sure your dog has all of the up to date vaccines before you go which is nice to know that they have every pets welfare in mind when they are grooming dogs. “Great organization. I love and respect what they do. However, I found it difficult to adopt from here. I submitted an application, but never heard back. I called, and the woman said she would call me back sometime soon and that my application was approved. Never heard back. You’d think they’d want to find these animals homes, considering most of them have been here for years. I couldn’t think of a reason why they would behave this way. I’ve called a few times now, and I keep hearing the same runaround. I think I’ll adopt elsewhere.”
