Burnt my hand on the 20 year old cheap coffee maker, tried to get some apple juice from a machine and it was warm apple syrup topped with warm water, breakfast ended at 9, the pool was closed for no definable reason, the rooms were pretty bare bones, the TV guide was extremely wrong, the TVs themselves were like 100 years old, and the place smelled of dust. For the price, its eh. For a place, its bad.

Can I leave less than 1 star?! Booked room at 9pm showed up 9:30 the front desk clerk was missing several people standing in the lobby she had been missing over 20min by then we waited 30min more for her to show up and tell us there were no rooms and we had to get our refund through the site we booked it. She marked us as holding the room and no shows we are now fighting the hotel for our refund based on incompetence and laziness she was absolutely rude and had no customer service skills what so ever

Pros: didn’t have an issue with security doors locked just fine. Didn’t have a noise issue and were next to a group of several younger boys who we couldn’t hear through the walls. Blonde lady at front desk was kind and approachable
Cons: Pictures on Priceline were very outdated. Pool is empty and out of commission. Only one entrance door works, windows were awful with heavy dirt and film on them. Elevator was dirty and clearly the license was outdated by 3 years. Stripped the beds as soon as I walked in and didn’t notice any signs of bedbugs lifted the mattress and found old dirty closed stuffed between boxspring and mattress. Neighborhood was pretty sketchy but saw the cops doing rounds in parking lot around 830pm. Woke up the next morning itchy so pulled the sheets back and immediately spotted a bed bug, was grossed out and packed stuff up immediately without checking out breakfast or anything else. Highly DO NOT recommend and wish I’d have read reviews before staying

So the entrance was blocked on one side and the room had minimal towels some with stains. There was no iron or back on the remote control. The complimentary breakfast was cold cereal and bread! No fresh fruits, waffles, eggs or even peanut butter! There was no protein at all. This is the worst hotel I've visited ever! Literally just a place to sleep...

If I would have known how this place was I would not have stayed. If I could give negative stars I would have. Ramada used to be a well known name of a wonderful hotel. This place should shut down. I went in because I was traveling for work, went into the building and they stated it's a 100.00 deposit. Okay, that is new, also being a rewards member I didn't get any points or welcome gift, still no big deal. But the lobby glass looked like everyone who smokes sat in there and placed a film all over the glass. The glass stair care railing would be beautiful but it is dingy and dull. It is dark and gloomy in the lobby. The pictures on their website is gorgeous but not reality. Their website states there is a pool, there is not or it was broke. The elevator appeared to be expired on the permit. The room was terrible, the bedskirt was stained or hadn't been washed, the room smelled funny, the bed was uncomfortable. The couch was stained. The window in the room was dirty and a film on it. Sprinkler system had holes around the base and one was filled with toilet paper. The shower was cracked and the bathroom needed paint. I went down for breakfast and there was no hot breakfast, just bread and I think a few packaged muffins. No juices. The coffee was turned off after 9am, so no free coffee during the day like other hotels. I think I met the owners but they acted like it was normal not to have complimentary coffee. I found out this is the place where the homeless are allowed to stay when placing them for shelter. Please don't go here, I complained to Wyndham and they are representing them not in a good light.

This hotel is nasty. The front door doesn’t close all the way, and garbage was left sitting right out front on the sidewalk. Then once we walked in there were linens and boxes everywhere. Once you get into the hallway where the rooms are there is an odd smell. Our first room was filthy and smelly with plumbing that sounded like an alarm when you flushed. The second room was also smelly and filthy with dust, bugs and stains everywhere. There was duct tape holding the furniture together and wires hanging out of the wall. The smoke detector was missing and the room door lock was loose and barely functioning. No towels, soap or shampoo are provided at all. The front desk lady laughed when we brought the issues to her attention. We decided not to stay here for those reasons and they refused to issue a refund. There is also a surprise 105 fee on top of the booking cost.
This hotel is dirty, filled with bugs, unsafe and ran by rude and unprofessional people. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I recently stayed at the Ramada in Bettendorf, Iowa, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had two rooms reserved, and despite the hotel not being sold out, both rooms were in unacceptable condition upon arrival.
One room was missing a TV remote and had scalding hot water that made it unusable. The second room didn’t even have a shower curtain, which made taking a shower extremely inconvenient and messy. On top of that, the rooms were filthy, clearly not cleaned properly between guests.
To make matters worse, garbage and used towels were left in the hallway and remained there for the entire duration of our stay—a clear sign of poor housekeeping and management oversight.
I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk staff, but the woman I spoke with seemed uninterested and unconcerned, offering no solutions or even an apology.
I expected more from a branded hotel like Ramada. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.
