“Prices are always great and the people working are always very nice and friendly. This particular visit is was shopping for my rapidly growing 10 year old boy. It was a special on kids clothes today but hes in adult small/medium. She still gave me the discount because they were FOR my child. I am so appreciative to her and the bargain shope for being in this small community where we need resources like this.”

“I love this store! I've been to several of the other locations and none of them top the cleanliness, helpful employment, decor during holidays or great customer service that Carroll store has. The valentines day balloons are awesome they don't have them clustered in one area like all other stores, the balloons are throughout the store which makes them easier to read, not a headache to reach up and snag the one you want without several others following or tangling with it and it's just looks alot cleaner that way. They put off an amazing aura when entering the store as well. You're always able to get help even if it means them searching the backroom for you, if there's ever an issue they tend to them in the proper most respectful way possible leaving customers satisfied. “Driving through town just now who stops at the Dollar general here on the east side of Carol Iowa. Stopped in for a little sugar snack you know sugar rush to finish the drive home to the one from Sioux City since we drove up from Des Moines to Sioux City this morning Dollar general does not usually allow people to use their restrooms they're not public facilities and that's like a company standard thing nationwide. Well I really had to use the bathroom and on my way and I had offered the guy to help him cuz he was moving some stuff and you know he had said it was heavy but he declined and said thank you. When I finished a paying for my items at the cash register and making a quick light conversation with the two associates that were in the Dollar general working I really need to use the bathroom. I asked you the bathroom and he was like you know generally we're not allowed to but you offered to help me go ahead and use it. That's the type of humanity showing back and forth between he and I that often is missing in customer service these days. Those two people were so friendly so calm and at peace and ease with their positions in the store it was second nature for them to look out for another person. I'm very grateful that they were there working cuz any two other people would have probably said no. Those two workers made that dollar general and I promise you they're probably two of their best workers throughout the week every week They make that Dollar general much much better. They were helping a couple other customers that had come in since I was in and came out of the bathroom and I wanted to ask their names but I did not want to interrupt their workflow I don't know their names if anybody does know their names Please put their names down here as they work the Sunday night shifts near closing and they close at 8:00 p.m. But those two deserve a raise for the common decency and humanity that they showed me”
