This was my favorite Caseys to go to… Until I saw the older gentlemen eating his sandwich in the back. He took a bite and walked towards the prep table for the pizzas and licked his thumb and index finger, and then reach in to the container of maybe cheese or onions and put them on his sandwich.
Im sure this happens on several places where customers don’t see it. Bit witnessing it after buying a pizza had me on edge of wanting my pizza.. what if he picked his nose and then threw lettuce on my taco Pizza?
This was very unfortunate to see.

At 12:15 am 12/2/24 my Apple Pay was charged $20.61 for an order of two 8 pks of Mountain Dew to be delivered. When I submitted the payment the app gave me a message that said cart was not calculated. I obviously was still charged and payment is showing cleared so Casey’s was paid however the app never showed an order pending or in progress. I called the store at 1661 32nd St NE Cedar Rapids IA 52402 to verify my order and was told that they did not have an order for me and was given the phone number 866-922-0768 to call which prompted me to fill out a form. I am very unhappy with Casey’s and it’s app at this moment as it has out right stolen my money.
An update to this post. Casey’s has not refunded my money stating they cannot find the transaction. I would highly suggest not using their app to place an order as you run the risk of this happening to you. I will also no longer be patronizing Casey’s stores which is a shame as I was a loyal customer who was actively involved in their rewards program.

Do not eat here and do no work here. I was hired without an interview first red flag, main manager cussed out his employees with customers in the store, other managers do drugs in the bathroom especially at night and that’s why it takes forever to find someone. Your also forced to work in the kitchen while sick or your taken off the schedule for 2 weeks as a “punishment”. If your order is messed up you have to physically go in to get it fixed because they tell their employees that if you mess up an order to ignore calls unless someone physically comes in. Don’t be surprised if you get sick after eating here considering it’s normal for sick people to be touching the food while running fevers. They do not even deserve 1 star. Beware don’t support this Casey’s there are plenty of others this one is disgusting.

This is in regard to the automated car wash, which claims to include an undercarriage wash with the upper tier selections. Needing to remove the caked on snow and salt from winter I selected this option though quickly realized upon entering the bay that there was no under carriage wash and the swing arm barely accomplished much during the couple passes it made before calling the job done.Don't waste your money, go to an actual car wash or do it yourself at home. This "car wash" is a limp drip joke.

I don’t know how they do it but no matter what time I go in the food in the warmer is always expired. It doesn’t matter if it’s noon or 9:30. Always expired food, absolutely trash store.

I haven't been in the store for over a year because the few times I went the employees were very rude and the Manager wasn't much better. I'd rather go to this one because it's convenient for me but it's not worth being treated disrespectfully.

Everything is perfect as usual except one thing at the Mt Vernon Rd location... There is a female employee who for some unknown blasphemous reason seems to be working the register literally every single second of every single day. I have spoken to several other regular customers like myself about her absolutely terrible job performance and awful customer service skills, and apparently word around is everyone is now calling her Mrs. Molasses because she's about slow enough to make a person want to blow their own head off right there at the register. I just don't understand how an employee who is literally this horrible at their job so much so that everyone in town talks about them and has even given them a nickname, is the one employee who is there more than ANYONE else employed there!!! Why give your slowest, laziest, (and with all due respect here) stupidest employee more hours than everyone else, not to mention why on EARTH would you actually want a person like this working every single second the store is open, if they serve NO beneficial purpose to the company and literally do NOTHING as far as anyone is concerned except drive the entire store and all of it's business straight into the dirt?!?! It makes no sense to me or anyone else for that matter, and I suggest if you know what's best for your store, you tell Mrs. Molasses to kick rocks because there are 7 BILLION human beings on this planet who could do that job a thousand times better and more efficient than her. Actually, my 3 year old daughter needs a job, so maybe you'll consider hiring her? I assure you she would do a much better job than the dingbat you got there now. I had a goldfish once that was smarter than this woman... So for the love of everything that actually makes sense in this world... Please... Replace her with someone more capable before you lose the business of, well... Literally the entire population of the city of Cedar Rapids. Makes me wonder what the manager is like, you know? Because it's true what they say... "It takes one to know one." Dear God we can only hope in this case, it doesn't... I mean... I wonder how that interview with Mrs. Molasses even went, you know? And who is this manager who's judgement is clearly ridiculous enough to say to this worthless person "Hey! Your hired!"The world we live in... *sigh*

The last review I gave was very harsh. While the prices are outrageous, it's like that everywhere. The staff here are semi courteous. Overall I find this place is average.
