When you buy a newer car from Iowa and bring it back to Illinois and you get the extend warranty and they tell you at the dealership that you can take it anywhere to be serviced that is certified that is not true because I have been to two different dealerships and I have told that they due not have the equipment to fix my car if it was broke which it is. Not at this time and they won’t even change the oil. So please make sure you do your research

If you are intending or planning to purchase a used car with this dealer be SURE to grab pre purchase inspection, be careful as sales rep will most likely attach a sense of urgency, “someone else will buy it before you” to the sale. I’ve learned a huge lesson in purchasing used cars! Even if they say someone else wants to buy it, get estimates for any repair, test all components in the car and check the under carriage to make sure it isn’t rusty! Sales rep Casey SUPER responsive pre purchase. After care/questions completely went ignored! Horrible customer service as once the car is purchased, you may not be responded to. Will not purchase with them again.

Mr. Bruce, the salesman who helped me, was very nice and courteous. He listened to my needs and requirements in a vehicle and worked with me to meet them.

maybe honor recalls. better customer service and maybe dont tell people who have legit safty concerns about said recall that if they dont come get their car it will be towed.. this happened 2 times in the past 6 months or so where ford had a recall and their "mechanics" couldnt figure out the problem. the problem is there is a recall so fix it.

Bought a Pathfinder from Brian at Westdale. Great to work with. Quick, easy and somewhat painless. As painless as buying a vehicle can get! The team at Westdale is honestly very caring. They want to help and get you a vehicle that you want! Everything went smooth, from looking to purchasing and signing on the line.

Absolutely THE best service ever! Arman is amazing he helped our family buy a really great vehicle, he worked hard to get us the best deal and is genuinely concerned about you, the customer, and not simply making a sale. We feel like we made a friend not just your average salesman! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)

Kaylon at Westdale McGrath is phenomenal at his job. My husband had two vehicles selected. The first may have had an engine issue and Kaylon was straight up and said I won’t sell you that car. We appreciate his honestly and integrity over making a sale. Kaylon was professional and assisted with every question I had. If he didn’t have an answer he didn't feed me a line he sought out from other McGrath employees. When I was done with the financing piece I walked by Kaylon’s cubicle to wave good bye, but he was gone. Ten minutes later he called to say sorry he missed me and thanked us for the business, again top notch customer service. Kaylon is no pressure and wants you to make the best decision that the buyer is happy with. Our experience with Kaylon earned him our salesman for life (or as long as he is selling cars) title!

Awful dealership that doesn’t consider it’s customers. We went through McGrath in Fulton Missouri, and they first ripped us off, and now we have been trying to contact them about a warranty we purchased and they will not return any phone calls. Do not purchase a car from them.

My husband and I have gotten several vehicles from McGrath over the years and Carter V. at the Hiawatha location has helped me specifically with my last two vehicles. He is very friendly and listens to what your needs and wants are. We had a challenging situation this last trade in and he was very patient and did not give up until we found the right vehicle. He is also super flexible and willing to travel to different locations and even brought a vehicle to our home so we could test drive it and didn’t have to bring the kids in. Carter is the best!!! Hope is still there when we come back for our next vehicle!

We had a great experience at McGrath in Hiawatha. The car we had our heart set on was being sold as we arrived. Carter did a fantastic job of helping us find many comparable options and was able to find us a car that fit our needs and budget. He even took us to different locations to compare them all. On top of that, we had to bring our two very young children along and he was great with them and extremely accommodating. We have nothing but great things to say about Carter. He will definitely be getting our return business in the future.

My Daughter went in for a simple oil change and came out with McGrath telling her she needed over $4000 in work needing to be done. I immediately took it to a mechanic I normally use and he said no only the brakes need some attention but they are not $1000. Sad part this is not the only time this has happened. Was it because she was a girl or because she is young? Truly sad

Beware, McGrath new car sales is not looking for the best financing for you. It seems like they have ulterior motives. We suspected McGrath was up to something when the Hyundai salesman asked us ‘what kind of payment are you looking for?’ I answered that I’m looking for the best interest rate/finance deal and the payment will be what it will be after that. Everyone we talked to at McGrath kept coming back to that question, ‘what kind of payment do you want?’ We’ve bought several new cars in our lives as well investing in real estate and understand very well how financing works. Every new car we’ve purchased was always financed through the manufacturer because, at least in our case, they always had the better deal. We assumed that would be the case with Hyundai too, but McGrath lied to us by saying they weren’t offering any deals and McGrath’s favorite lender, Green State Bank, was the best. Again, we’ve never experienced a situation where the car manufacturer wasn’t offering the better finance deal. We questioned McGrath on this and they confirmed Hyundai didn’t have a better rate, Green State did so, we agreed to finance with Green State Bank. The next day, we went on Hyundai’s website and sure enough they were offering a considerably better finance deal on new cars just as we suspected. We contacted McGrath and asked why did they lied to us. The finance person we worked with the night before said she wasn’t aware of Hyundai having any finance deals. This seemed to us to be another lie. I’ve never heard of a dealership who wasn’t fully in tune with their manufacturer’s finance packages. To hear a dealership, especially one as big as McGrath claim they were unaware of Hyundai’s financing was simply unbelievable. We insisted on them changing the financing from Green State to the Hyundai package immediately, which they did. The other issue we had is that they are very pushy trying to get you to buy the extended warranty. The way they present it is very misleading – almost like you don’t have a choice to turn it down. After we turned it down, she continued to push it. I finally had to firmly tell her that we weren’t interested and to move on. She later came back and tried to sell it to us a third time. Buyer beware. Make sure you do your homework before buying from McGrath and don’t let them strong arm you into something that doesn’t sound right to you. Like the extended warranty, the way they present the information, I can see how easy it would be for those who don’t have much experience dealing with salesman, to ‘fall for it’.
