They were very knowledgeable about the problems and noise our car was making, fast at getting it done ,loaned us a car till ours was done which was a nice touch beings we didn't have an extra vehicle or someone to pick us up. If I could I'd give it more than a 5. Car rides and sounds like new.”
“Hands down one of the best, experiences I’ve have had taking a vehicle anywhere! I called ahead with some concerns I had about my Box truck. I explained that I had just got it back from another shop and that I didn’t feel like my concerns had been addressed and what I needed was an honest inspection. He explained that not only did they do that, but they would photograph the inspection as well to prevent any confusion. If you’re willing to take this extra step for the customer that’s a bonus to me. After getting my full inspection back I indeed had some issues and my concerns were real and now I have to question any and all work done by the previous shop. After going over everything, we established a list to check off over time. Let’s be honest owning a vehicle requires maintenance over time and as a customer you want an honest experience and honest work for the hard earned money you spend. I definitely didn’t have to question any and all work done at Ramsey Repair the proof is in the photos.”

“Absolutely first rate experience with Kevin and Dave. They fixed my Toyota but diagnosed it first and sent a digital report to show me what needed repairing. The repair cost was fair, the quality was great and they have earned my trust. I had taken this car to three different Cedar Rapids shops the previous week to have them diagnose the vehicle, (rather like a mystery shopper experience), each shop came up with nonsense repair estimate needs, from requiring a new brake master cylinder and possible ABS unit for $2,000, and another shop telling me I need a new head gasket "so sell the car or it may cost about $4,500". There was absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes or head gasket. I have mechanical knowledge and knew these shops mis diagnosed. What a shame. Anyway, Kevin and Dave, were straight shooters, diagnosed exactly what was necessary and charged accordingly. My Toyota is running great and I am very appreciative. Thank you very much.”

“My truck jumped out of park at work rolled down a hill and hit a co workers car could have hurt someone so I went to Todd at first he quoted and said since it's your daily driver I'll get right on it but let me go look long story short it was cable issues he fixed it right in front of me said no charge he could have lied charge me a ton of money but he is very honest person ! “Definitely the place to go for transmission work. I called in and told them my issues I was having. They gave me a quote for a rebuild which was already fair priced. Super knowledgeable and friendly start to finish. Thing that impressed me the most was how honest they were. They repaired my transmission and came in a lot cheaper than originally expected. They fixed what was needed and charged me for that. They could have easily pocketed the money and charged me full price. How would you ever know? What great guys! Places like this are rare these days. All my future business will be with these guys and I’ll be recommending them to my friends and family.”

“I I just love this place. The staff is very polite and helpful. I have been going there for the past couple of years and have never been disappointed. They have my trust and respect.
I just left my tire to be patched. One guy even checked the tire to ensure it was put on right for safety. When I called other places, they were either charging extra and giving me at least a day and a half to fix it. So, I drove across town because I knew I wouldn't be disappointed there.
