βWe have been taking our vehicles to Mt. Vernon Road Tire for years and they have always been kind, accommodating, fast, and fairly priced. Their customer service is phenomenal. They are patient, friendly, and they really try to explain everything to you in terms of the repair. I have never felt pressured to fix something, but they are up front when it's an issue that really needs to repaired for safety. I appreciate that.
They just fixed my break pads and took so much care to make sure the pedal was also working optimally. Every team member I interacted with was extremely nice and made me feel like a valued customer. They were also beyond fair with pricing. I think the SE side is lucky to have Mt. Vernon Rd Tire!β
βVery friendly and helpful staff. I lost a frost plug and all the coolant leaked out. They were able to get my car in for service in a timely manner and made the repair quickly at a reasonable cost. The mechanics are knowledgeable and I would recommend this shop for any repairs.β

βTo service my RAM diesel, I was referred to Ramsey Repair by another shop. The high referral was very well grounded because Ramsey went well beyond expectations. It is so pleasing to find a company that takes customer service and minor details so seriously. From the tremendously detailed initial inspection to the final cleaning of my oil sprayed motor block, every step was professional and clear. I am very satisfied Ramsey Repair and will be returning for them to complete some additional work discovered in the initial inspection and to do routine maintenance going forward. I highly recommend this shop.β
βDan, the manager, was amazing, and listened to my concern about my truck. He called once it was diagnosed and didn't once try to up-sell parts I didn't need. I really appreciate that since this was the first time using this business. I did print the coupon before I arrived and he honored it along with giving me a military discount. Rob checked me out and was extremely polite while being busy with other customers and telephone calls. He explained what they found and what they fixed. My truck interior was just as clean as when I dropped it off. With the challenges of finding good, honest, employees like all other companies, Dan seems to have a good crew. I definitely will use them again.

βI brought my car in for an estimate and left with a free fix! My drivers side door looked like it had been pulled on like someone was trying to break in. This created a gap that let in a ton of water. They fixed it in less than five minutes and didn’t charge me! While I hope I don’t need further services, I’ll return if I do!! Outstanding customer service and truly kind people!β

βVery rarely do I take the time to write a review but these guys deserve it. Their pricing, customer service, and their warranty ALL were top notch. I won't hesitate to give them more business or recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their car, in the future. If you are interested, here is the back story. My sons 2009 Honda civic was having issues starting and an intelligent guess was that it was the starter (yes we had the battery checked). But we always seemed to be able to eventually get it to turn over and then it would work for 2-3 weeks without out issue. 6 months later, (when everything else in my life seemed to want to break) it finally died, and I mean nothing, but a strong click happened. Would have replaced it on my own BUT Honda decided to hide it up underneath in an impossible place. Honestly, the car needed to be lifted WAY up to get to it. So, I reluctantly called around for quotes. First couple calls scared the bejesus out of me. ie; $$$$, other places wouldn't even give me a quote over the phone, told me to bring it in (and this is AFTER I told them the car wouldn't start...) eventually I found Automotive Service Evolution. After explaining my issue to them and what WAS happening, there was enough confidence to at least go with the notion that it was the starter. The quote (Half of most places), the conversation and the reviews online gave me the confidence to give them a go. I had the car towed their (thank you State Farm emergency roadside service plan!), they worked on the car on the scheduled day, paid the quoted price, and car works as promised.β
βOur experience with McGrath Ford's service center was excellent. A part our Ford Escape needed was a recall and the service center got us on the schedule and the needed part in less than a week. Josh provided an easy to understand explanation and video of what went wrong with our vehicle and was excellent to communicate with.β
βHad to have my car towed to Albert Auto over the weekend. They were recommended by a coworker. Called them Monday morning! Diagnosed and fixed same day. New alternator and I had them replace the 4 year old battery. What you get here is an honest business just doing their job. Thanksβ
βProfessional and knowledgeable staff. Clean comfortable waiting room and facilities. The staff made sure I was comfortable and they kept me up to date with the link to my GMC.
Due to a slight rush of customers my oil change took a bit longer than normal and the staff apologized for the extra wait time.β

βWe live 2 hours away but our daughter is a Kirkwood student. She drove her car back to Cedar Rapids to get prepped for fall and thought her wheels sounded problematic. Of course this was at 455pm! I called J St Auto bc I grew up on J St even tho I’ve been gone for 30+ years and knew no one in the car repair business in Cedar Rapids. J St took her car that night and had it all fixed up in time for her to get to her job at HyVee the following day. Great service, kind, accommodating, patient and I do not have to worry about my daughter’s brakes!!β

βHighly Recommended! Did some aftermarket upgrades to my car by putting on a custom exhaust with tips, installing pink under-Glow lighting, pink fog lights, installing the vinyl strips, and the best and affordable detailing of my vehicle where the inside shined way longer than I expected! . I am thrilled with the work! I get so many complements on my car wherever I go now. Was great having them take the time to explain things in a way I understood and I didn't feel over charged or pushed like all other places make you feel. I'm going here from now on!β

βGood as new! Chad was highly professional and dedicated to completing top quality work on my car. He got almost all OEM parts price matched with what insurance would cover, and worked with me to order a used OEM fender that could not be price matched and was not available new from the manufacturer. They also cleaned my interior! Everything turned out perfect and it was very apparent that Chad and the rest of the staff work extremely hard to deliver exceptional customer service. And the lifetime warranty on their work gives great peace of mind!β
βI had just started my search for a different vehicle than what I had. My husband and I had done quite a bit of research and wanted to test drive Jeep Grand Cherokee and another vehicle, and McGrath had them all on their lot! We were paired with Tait, one of the newer salesmen. He was very knowledgeable, personable, professional, kind, and was able to answer all our questions.
