“I came in to have the free tire balance and rotation. The employees were very friendly and had the work done in about 20 minutes. They helped me load my purchases in the vehicle since it was still in the garage bay. Overall a pleasant experience:)”

“Sam's Club, the first big box membership chain.
They've been doing it longer than anyone else, and it shows. They have changed some things over the years, gone are the loader carts and 25 lbs bags of everything. They still use the price point entry system. This is where they put the lowest priced item next to the highest price. And then let you figure out what's what. The TVs are a perfect example. You walk in, and there is a $4,000+ TV, next to a $1,500 one. Then, in the next row is the lower priced TVs are.
They have a lot of the standard goods- just in econo sizes. Mind you, it's up to you to sort out the deals.
They have tasting stations sparsely spread about and staffed. (Costco has them beat by a long shot). But that said, they're still good at some of the things they're known for. They have a scanning feature from their app that let's you pay as you go, so you don't have to deal with checkouts. (Costco needs this bad!). They also make sushi fresh - which is a huge bonus as you aren't buying something that could be days old.
Their cafe is similar, but some of the food is pre-made, so it's been sitting awhile.
All in all, it's worth a membership if you are a savvy shopper.”
