Super fun. However, it is a little pricey for 3 people sitting fee and 5 items at 150.00. Very organized and clean and examples all over the venue to get ideas for designing your items and painting ideas.

Was initially a little intimidated as I've never glazed pottery before. But I love painting and all arts and crafts. When I walked in, they greeted me right away, and I said that I had never done this before. The employee walled me through everything that I'd need to do and explained the glazing and kiln parts to help me with what colors I would want after it was fired. All in all a great time, I was there for 2 hours to do a medium piece, there's a 1 week wait to pick up the finished piece. I would highly recommend!!!

Cute space that had lots of signs explaining the process and paints so staff didn't have to spend much time with us.Nice staff, cool spot-- a little on the expensive side but we spent about an hour and a half there. Looking forward to picking up our projects in a week!

Nice selection of items to paint. Access to paint very convenient. Kids 7 and 10 had great time with mom and grandma.

I came here with my work colleagues for a group outing so I didn't have to pay for anything ... things are super expensive if you want something good and of you are a perfectionist... it may be stressful because you do have a time limit but!!!!!! It is super fun! So if you have money to spend ( the good stuff is 34 dollars a peice, and up) this is a fun place to come. I did see ALOT of children too. Fun for all ages! Oh and it was very clean!

Disappointment, my son wanted to do pottery painting and turned out they were closed. My fault for not reading the times right, but sho who is closed on Monday and Tuesday lolI apologize, for some reason the whole post didn’t send, I included that I have visited before, the 2- stars is not based solely on my error in not reading the times right, that is by no means the companies fault that I didn’t look at the times right. While my kids enjoy going, for me it’s not financially feasible to take them all the time, it’s fairly expensive, and although they do have cheaper options, they are by no means as cool as the expensive options, of course! You do sit down with your group but was definitely not a place to go with 2 younger kids alone. The paint is nice to see the different options but can be a little overwhelming with all the options they have. The staff seemed to have disappeared. You do have to go back to pick up your piece later after it gets fired.

Such a cute place with so many options I almost couldn't choose... such a nice, open area with a lot of natural lighting and the staff are so sweet! Something for all ages here❤️

Took my niece (17) and nephews (11 and 14) to the Ankeny lication one Saturday morning. We were there when it opened and a friendly young lady told us how things worked. There’s quite the selection to choose from so the kids had a time of it until I told them to pick from the Party Animals, it was a little easier for them.While painting, one of them made a choice for not one but two of his next selections. They also indicated they were having more fun than they thought we would. We had allotted two hours due to other commitments but they will be coming back to fish their pieces as well pick up the two that were finished.If I lived closer, I’d be here more often but I’m guessing this is going to be on “our” list of places to go when I visit them next. Thank you for helping me create some fun memories with them.

Had a wonderful time painting, two hrs until they closed but I was not pressured to hurry up at all- I wrapped up my project and expected to wait a few weeks to get it back, as I've experience with other places similar. Pick up date was one week from that point- I was impressed by the kind and quick experience! Love my lil spoonholder as well ❤️

1st time here. It was alot of fun once you get the hang of what and how to do it. A bit spendy but for a special occasion it's great.
