Verizon in Clive, Iowa is beyond horrible and the manager is worse. "Vince" screwed everything up on my account possible a week ago and 9 hours of my time later I'm semi functioning. Go ANYWHERE else in the Dsm metro or better yet, leave Verizon.

Would give them zero stars if that was a choice......They are open until 7pm....I broke my phone....I drove 30 miles......they would not help me because it was 6 minutes before 7pm.....so CLEARLY they are not open until 7pm.. I just needed a new flip phone, an easy transaction........I have been a Verizon customer for 15+ years......With that said, I called the published number for the store this morning and got routed to Verizon Customer service somewhere far off that could not tell me a local phone number for the store nor the store managers name so I can send him or her a letter but would gladly set me up an appointment...I was already there when they were open and no one would help me.....why would I want to go back? ...I was able to replace the phone through a different carrier last night and I will be cancelling the Verizon phone plan today. If it is that difficult to get a managers name, a local phone number or service during posted open business hours........why would I want to continue the relationship? I am out !!

I went here today to get more information on getting on my own plan. The woman I talked to was very helpful and accommodating. But the man in the store was very rude. He interrupted the conversation I was having to ask the woman if she needed help. Then when she said no, he announced that she was the newbie and so he had to check up on her. She once again assured him that she did not need any help. But instead of leaving us he hovered around. I could not imagine having to work in that environment.

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff of Verizon (University Ave, and Jordan Creek) whom I worked with today to get my 93 old mother an updated 5G phone. Truly amazing, kind, helpful, professional - each and every one. Just when I thought good service was a thing of the past - I found an oasis of excellence in Verizon today (two stores and one person on phone). Thank you sincerely - your help and exemplary service is deeply appreciated!

The service is always subpar. They are generally not accommodating and do not have staff that can help you. It is generally a frustrating experience. I only continue to use them as a carrier because I travel all over the state and need the coverage. That is the saving grace for Verizon because they are so much more expensive than the other carriers and service is so terrible.

This review is for only Verizon Tech Support. I don't know if they know what they are doing there! Let me start off saying that I've been a customer for many years. And that I've have had 3 different phones over that time. I've also have had the same issues over that same time period. My folks are elderly and live around 45 miles from me. I try calling them twice a day to check in on them. The only phone they have is just a landline. When I call them it's a hit or miss if the call even goes through. If it does at some point (not every time) my mother will say that she can no longer hear me, although I can still hear her or the line would just disconnect us. I've even had this happen twice with 2 different people, while I was on the phone with Tech Support. It does not happen to anyone else that calls them, or to anyone else that I call. Even though the town they live in had come out and checked all the phone lines. Then a couple of years ago the town had all-new fiber optics installed. I also sometimes have problems when I group text. It seems that sometimes whenever I try to send a group text. I get a message that says (The network is down and the message will be sent as soon as it's back up.). But it seems to take 24hrs or more to be sent. Which is odd since I've sent many other text messages in the meantime. I'm about ready to switch carriers if I could find one that would offer me the same or a better deal on my phone plan...

This place is very hot and cold. The last time I went the man was very helpful. This time I was trying to return something with packaging and all. No damage or anything and Jordan, the store manager said I was out of luck. Not good customer service when I've been a Verizon customer for years! Very disappointing.

I went in here for some off the wall requests. I need a flip phone for my 100 year old grandma. Colton did a great job making suggestions on phones and how to use it. He explained what we needed to do to get it set up. Including how to use her land line number for a new cell phone. He gave me plenty of great information that I can take back to my dad so he can make an informed decision.

I came to Verizon in the middle of the afternoon on a Monday with my fingers tightly crossed in hopes that there wouldn't be a long wait. I was in luck. An associate greeted me as soon as I entered, asked what I needed, and we headed directly to get me a new phone. He reviewed features from my old phone (via his system) and confirmed if I wanted the same on the new phone. He also reviewed our plan and identified a new plan that would provide more data but not cost anything more. He did share some accessory options with me which I knew were their upsell opportunities, but there was no pressure for me to buy and I was comfortable turning down features or products. He had the phone set up very quickly and started the transfer process rather than leaving that for me to do. I was in and out very quickly and very pleased with the help that i received.
