“I came here to have an alexandrite stone appraised. I was impressed with the Patek Phillipe selection of watches, that’s really awesome to have in a city that’s this small.”

“The unique pottery is enough in itself to have me coming back again and again. It is displayed in such a way that makes you feel as though you are in an art museum yet able to pick something up and buy it. The rest of the store has fun items, jewelry, seasonal decor, kids items, and more, but the pottery area stands out. Great little gem in Iowa City.”
“Lovely museum, it’s so nice that it’s free, if I lived in IC I would walk through often. Quiet, laid out well, interesting exhibits and loved seeing the Jackson Pollock. Will be back!”
“Nick is the genuine article and one of those people who makes me glad to live here. He's been framing photos and art for me for a couple of decades now; his eye's great and the frames are Serious, really beautiful. It'd been a while since I'd been in, though, and after dragging my feet on a couple of pieces for a few years I finally made it to his new shop. Keep in mind: I go in there wearing a mask and dark glasses, my hair's gone gray...and he still recognized me and greeted me with a big hug. Like no time had passed at all. Key takeaway: forget how great a guy he is for a second, if he makes a frame for you, that piece will never need a new frame. Decor fashions will come and go and his work will always look right, will always lend beauty to your room and support the artwork. We're lucky to have him here.”
