“I had a fairly emergent situation with my alternator going out and AAA recommended this place. Gave me an estimate the same day, ordered the part and had my vehicle fixed within 3 working days. They were friendly, honest and efficient.”

“While driving cross country my Toyota Venza Hybrid informed me that I needed an oil change. We pulled into the town of LeClaire, IA, hoping to find a quick solution and a friendly woman at their local visitor center sent me to a Valvoline Oil Change Center. After waiting for 30+ minutes they told me that they didn’t have enough oil to complete the job! How can a company that specializes in changing oil not have enough oil? We found Jiffy Lube a few minutes away. They had me in and out in about 15 minutes! Great service!”
“Greer to the rescue! My family’s minivan died right before the exit to Coralville and Dana was willing to have my car towed and stayed late to get it fixed. He out in high quality parts and his rates were fine. Overall, the bill was much higher than I’d like, but that was mostly due to an expensive part. He seems kind and honest, rare in this business.”

“I've only been in IC/Coralville for a few years and have already had a couple of bad (or good but overpriced) experiences at shops. These guys are great. Very fair pricing, got me in right away, and did a thorough inspection of the entire car, noting on the invoice what could be fixed and what the price would be. No pressure. I'll go back for all of my repairs and maintenance.”

“Brian and his team is amazing. Car hit a tire on I-80 and they got be on the road on 5 hrs. I Thought car would be totaled. Even got lunch with them. I wish this was my local auto shop. Great people. Great everything.”
“Went to buy school clothes for my grandson. Ended up buying several half price yard ornaments also. They have a large selection of so many things, clothes, animal supplies, shoes etc.”
“We were in town for State Volleyball tournament and started having problems with our van squirting antifreeze all over when sitting still. We had just had our van in the shop for a new alternator on Monday close to our home town so couldn’t figure out why it was acting up. I called first thing Thursday morning and they were able to squeeze us in same day in the afternoon. When we dropped van off they told us of a restaurant two doors away and there specials for the day. They had van in and checked out in like hour and half called and told us what they found and what they thought they could do to fix it as they could not get the part that day. They got us fixed up and the mechanic showed my husband to keep an eye on this spot and showed him where and what to look for. When paying our bill and thanking them
For getting to us as soon as they could we told them we knew of some kids going to school there and would let them to know if they have any issues to go to these guys and then they even gave us a gift card to pass along to the college students that we know. SERVICE/MECHANIC/COMMUNICATION with us was OUTSTANDING and would recommend anyone looking for an honest quick, small home town feel of a mechanic shop go see the guys at Central Automotive!”
“I had routine wheel alignment which was completed quickly and perfectly. The tech also did a courtesy check and found some minor issues which were corrected with my authorization. I had a great overall experience.”
“Got 4 new tires. One of them lost a significant amount of air within the first 50 miles. Instead of only getting the lug nuts adjusted, which is an included service with the purchase, they'll had to fix or replace the tire.”
“Great place to go if you know what you want and where it's at and how much it costs. Terrible place to go if you expect anybody to ever acknowledge you being there or actually help you find anything or get any information. I walked around for 15 minutes looking intently at each employee trying to get their attention and was completely ignored even as I walked out the door”
