Family Fare Supermarket has been a staple in Michigan for over 60 years, focusing on community needs with budget-friendly options and weekly specials. Customers have generally reported positive experiences, highlighting the warm and kind service from cashiers, such as a memorable interaction with one named David. The store is well-organized, making shopping easy, and employees are noted for their helpfulness when assisting customers. However, some reviews point out areas for improvement. While many appreciate the friendly service, there are mentions of inconsistent customer service skills among staff. The prices at Family Fare have been criticized for not being as affordable as they once were, and while some shoppers found great deals, others noted that certain items are priced better at competing stores. The fried chicken has received high praise, with one customer claiming it could earn ten stars, but there have been complaints about portion sizes and the quality of sides. Overall, Family Fare Supermarket is seen as a solid choice for grocery shopping, especially for those seeking friendly service and convenience, though there is room for improvement in product selection and pricing.
Just got home from Family Fare and after being checked out by the marvelous cashier, David, the manager, Dana, came running after to me to give me back my forgotten phone/wallet. What a wonderful person/manager, Dana is (they both deserves a raise)...Thank you so very much!

I went to Family Fare last night, it was my first time there. I had the best experience with my cashier David. He was very warm and kind and explained the rewards program well, I look forward to going back:)

I like Family Fare in general. But this location looks deserted.
