“Helpful smile in every aisle including the parking lot. When I loaded my groceries and got in my car, my battery was dead! I was having trouble getting my hood open and two young men that were gathering carts saw I was having a problem and returned to help me. They got it open and tinkered with my battery cables and it started! I didn’t think to find out their names but they were my hero’s today. Thanks Hyvee guys! ❤️❤️ ,”

“I needed fruit for a wound demonstration - yes you read that right. I was in town for work and they had grapefruits 2/3 which is a little pricey considering they weren't in the best shape. Considering i was using to imitate a wound that wasn't an issue but had i gone there to get some to eat it would be a different story. Staff was nice store was clean so overall good experience.”

“My go to store. Hy-vee is closer for me, but the parking lot at Hy-vee is poorly designed with tight lanes and sharp turning angles. Ok for compact cars not so much for full size extended cab pickups. Family Fare has the best fried chicken of all stores and is #3 overall in the omaha metro for all fried chicken, behind only Time Out Foods #1 and Pizza Ranch #2. The meat is on the high side but is the best quality over the other grocery stores and is on par with Just Good Meats. Good wine and spirits section and large cold beer selection.”

“This place is always pretty great. The lines move fast. The store is generally well-stocked. I'm not sure there is a helpful smile in every aisle like when I was growing up, but there are many friendly faces willing to help. Of course, this good customer service is reflected in the prices. I suppose quality always costs more. Want to save more money? Go to Walmart. Want good customer service and fresh selections? Go to Hy Vee.”

“Having meals at HyVee stores is automatic for me. I think they beat restaurants hands down. Much more selection, better prices, faster service, and the quality is right up there with top restaurants. Plus you get an entire supermarket of drinks, sides and desserts to add.”

“I go here for the taco truck that is in the parking lot. Best in council bluffs, great traditional Carne asada and burritos at a fair price. Jaunitos is definitely a must if you want authentic, quality Mexican good, very clean!”

“I got the Wagyu New York Strips recently and they were some of the tastiest steaks I've ever bought. All you really need is some salt and pepper and the meat will do the rest. The whole meat department really helped me out with picking them out. I'm real tempted to get some more from there.”

“This Walmart doesn't have a large selection, and on the smaller side for a Super Center Walmart. We went in for grocery items. There were only two check out stands open and both had long lines. Luckily, the self check out stations had no wait. Rashad was the employee monitoring that area and he was very helpful”

“Employees here care about everything. They even double check my bags for me before leaving to make sure I got the right items. Sure it takes some of my life away every time but they simply take my breath away...kinda like that song from the 80s used in the Top Gun movie with Tom Cruise; which btw Tom Cruise needs to have his own cruise ship and show all his movies on it. “Ok, so here’s my take on Aldi. Overall Aldi’s is a good deal. But, for myself, I am a stickler for cleanliness and different ALDIs have their own standards. In Omaha, I shop in only three. Freshness of produce varies widely and changes daily. With that said, Aldi has many many bargains and is worth the effort to shop there. It’s quirky and European. I am continuing to shop here.”
