Motel 6 Council Bluffs provides clean rooms and good, friendly service from polite and professional staff. The location is perfect, close to many restaurants, shops, and a casino. It is a good, cheap option with plenty of amenities including a pool, vending machines, wifi, and guest laundry facilities. Some minor issues are occasionally noted, such as a lack of hot water in the mornings, a non-working ice maker, or an uncomfortable bed. The rooms are small but clean and well-stocked, and the staff address concerns immediately. Overall, it is a reasonable place for either a short or long term stay.
The pool was closed. My air conditioner didn't work but staff was great and have me a different room. Price is good if you're just needing a bed.

Toilet flapper valve leaks constantly, toilet not bolted to the floor and tilts when you wipe. Odor in room smells moldy, very slippery tub and shower, had to request a microwave and refrigerator, staff is very nice and helpful. Star 2 hotel!
