“Great staff, especially that young driver to the airport whose wife also works the front desk. He goes above and beyond and should get a raise. He spoke very highly of his bosses and company he works for and said they are like family and thats why he drives over an hour one way to work. Would stay there again and use his services. Hotel was very nice. Would love little cookie treats and even breakfast to go paper bag options in the early morning for people leaving before breakfast to the airport like the Hampton Inn next door had. All in all great experience!”

“Marissa and staff were incredible! We held a celebration of life for my father and it turned out perfect! We could control the music, have an area outside to hang out at, bring our own food, decorate, and not have to clean up! That alone made booking this venue a no brainer! She made sure that we had everything we needed; just flawless from start to finish. Dad would've loved it ❤️”

“Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy: The entire event was very well done. The staff/performers were AMAZING. The event was fun, entertaining, engaging the entire time.
The drinks were all good and overall this was a wonderful time out and very much worth the rather affordable price. Have some fun with it and dress at least a bit the part to really get into it!”

“My son & myself drove to Omaha on 11/22/26 to see Randall King in concert. We started following him in 2024 & have also seen him live in Des Moines. Slowdown was amazing. It was easy to find, had parking right across the street & the actual amenities are great for smaller, more intimate shows. It would take a lot to get me to drive that far again for a show, but I'd totally do it if the right act was playing there. I recommend checking out a show here.”

“Our company recently hosted our Holiday Party at The Empire Room, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, everything about this venue exceeded our expectations.

The layout and aesthetic of the space were stunning, especially with the gorgeous Christmas trees and lighting that perfectly complemented the holiday atmosphere. The backdrop of the lit trees at Turner Park added an extra touch of magic, making the evening feel truly special.

One standout feature was the beautiful hosted bar—elegant and fully stocked, it was a major highlight of the night. Onsite parking with validation was another huge plus, solving a common challenge with venues in the Omaha Metro area.

We were especially impressed with the service provided by Beth Reher, the event planner included with the venue rental. She was an absolute rockstar—10/10 for her meticulous attention to detail and seamless coordination. Knowing we had someone as capable and proactive as Beth on our team made all the difference.

If you're searching for the perfect venue for a holiday party or any event, I highly recommend The Empire Room. It's an exceptional space with top-notch amenities and service that will leave you and your guests in awe.”

“Went for my best friends wedding with Rachel as the planner. It was a beautiful day with the suites for groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready. I loved how open the layout was really nice with plenty of greenery. Taking pictures anywhere was breathtaking makes you feel like you’ve transported to a studio ghibli move. The bar and catering staff were so great and down to earth making sure everyone have the best time. Please book if for the next event you won’t be disappointed. Side note they do have fruit trees so it was a few flies outside the gate taking pictures and inside the courtyard”

Located in the heart of downtown, right next to CHI Health Center and within walking distance of the Old Market, this area is a hotspot for both locals and visitors.

One of its standout features is the plaza, a lively open-air space that transforms throughout the year—hosting live performances, festivals, and even an ice rink in the winter. “solid 4 stars. professional traveler here. pros are room size includes a full kitchen, room was one of the cleanest ive had and has a free laundry room to use that is actually clean not full of hogshit washed clothes, next to a walmart and chain restaurants location is good nice part of town.
cons are property needs updated but its all cosmetic the important things are ok, no usb outlet anywhere in the room, no pool or breakfast, and parking lot has potholes you can swim in the grand canyon is jealous. wow the size of the potholes around here rival the size of the local waistlines.”

“Attended an awards ceremony here. Super cool place. The design of the space feels retro in a way that's classy and timeless. Because it was winter, it was already dark by the time I got there and I didn't get a very good chance to see the view. Not sure if the food was their regular menu or special banquet food, it was mostly heavy appetizers. It was all good, but nothing too special. The fried ravioli had meat inside and was not labeled, a vegetarian friend unknowingly bit into one - that was not great. Food was a buffet but servers were friendly and attentive to clearing tables. The christmas lights added a lot to the vibe; it gave it such a magical feel like walking into an old movie scene. There were some sections where it seemed the lighting was a little harsh rather than moody, but I was lucky enough not to be sitting in any of them.”

“The rooms were spacious and seemed clean. The bathroom was a little bit outdated with peeling paint and some places that need caulking. The front desk gentleman was super fantastic. Very nice and friendly. No issues with checking in. So glad they had parking connected to the hotel! I was here for an event at the CHI health center. Easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We had our daughter's wedding here and it was lovely. It is a very nice, clean and classy place. The bridal room was amazing and great for pictures and very spacey. Cynthia is a woman that knowns and is about business which I appreciate. She was very helpful and even in the stretch of things she was understanding. I appreciate the professionalism and all they did to help us have a very good experience. Thank you very much.”

“I have been staying at this hotel for many years during my visits to Omaha.

One notable aspect of this hotel is the friendly staff all around. The check-in desk personnel during my arrival, the maintenance team, and the breakfast staff all exhibited above-average friendliness. In particular, a maintenance employee went out of his way to say, “If you need anything at all, please only ask.” Additionally, the room was clean and aligned well with the Hilton value proposition. The front desk attendant seamlessly connected my reservation to my rewards account without needing any prompting and even provided us with complimentary welcome waters. I also appreciated being granted a late checkout, which was incredibly helpful for managing the needs of our children. The breakfast offered was above average and very enjoyable.

However, there were some issues that detracted from our experience. The ice machine on my floor was broken, and there was an inoperable microwave due to an electrical problem with the outlet. Although the repairman addressed the issue, it took time out of our visit. Furthermore, there were no walnuts on the breakfast buffet, which was disappointing. I also found it challenging to obtain certain items from the front desk, as they seemed to only keep a limited selection of essentials. For example, it was difficult to find a garbage bag, which we always find necessary.

Overall, while there were a few drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to Omaha.

“El Museo Latino was Nebraska Passport stop number 54 for us in 2024. It was a bit challenging to find a parking spot as they are adjacent to a bank which is apparently very protective of their parking lot. There is some construction going on too, but the signage for getting to the temporary door was easy to follow. We buzzed, got inside and were greeted warmly.”

“Great as Holiday Inn always is! Only down side is the parking. It has a small lot, that you pay to park in. Otherwise it's street parking, that you pay to park.

Rooms: Great bed's and Big comfy pillows

Food and drinks: Hot breakfast was very good. They had a good selection of drinks, also”

“Was very happy with all the staff we interacted with. Everyone was very polite and helpful. After a long drive to town for a family emergency we were very tired but also early for check-in. The desk person was very helpful and got us into a room so we could get some needed rest.
Great proximity to the old market and lots of other parts of town. Not to mention across the street from the stadium.
I would definitely stay here again.”
