“Had the opportunity to work at The Arbor Event Venue for the very first time at Mr. and Mrs. Graber’s wedding, and I have nothing but great things to say about the venue and their staff.
From my experience as a DJ, it was clear they truly cared about the couple and the overall flow of the day. Every detail felt well thought out, and I really appreciated how much they cared about keeping the timeline on track. That kind of teamwork makes a huge difference when it comes to creating a smooth and memorable wedding day.
Their staff was professional, attentive, organized, and easy to work with. I always enjoy working with vendors and venue teams who genuinely care about the couple and understand the importance of communication and timing — and The Arbor definitely delivered.

“Our company recently hosted our Holiday Party at The Empire Room, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, everything about this venue exceeded our expectations.
The layout and aesthetic of the space were stunning, especially with the gorgeous Christmas trees and lighting that perfectly complemented the holiday atmosphere. The backdrop of the lit trees at Turner Park added an extra touch of magic, making the evening feel truly special.
One standout feature was the beautiful hosted bar—elegant and fully stocked, it was a major highlight of the night. Onsite parking with validation was another huge plus, solving a common challenge with venues in the Omaha Metro area.
We were especially impressed with the service provided by Beth Reher, the event planner included with the venue rental. She was an absolute rockstar—10/10 for her meticulous attention to detail and seamless coordination. Knowing we had someone as capable and proactive as Beth on our team made all the difference.

“We took our daughters here the other weekend to do an art project that my 7 year old wanted to do. Each girl got to pick and paint their own project and had a fun time doing so. My wife came here a couple years prior for a bachelotte party and she too had a wonderful time. My 7 year old is very happy and proud of what she created! “If you're looking for a magical wedding venue in Omaha, the best option is The Bohemian Gardens, without question. Aside from flowers on the tables, we did no decorating at all. The venue itself is so beautiful you don't need to. One of the owners, Jeff, was so kind and accommodating. The bartenders/serving staff were amazing. We cannot recommend this venue enough!”

“This past July, we celebrated our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at the Livestock Exchange. The venue was absolutely perfect. Let's be honest... weddings can be a racket! If you have ever been in the planning stages, especially when it comes to the venue, you understand the sickening feeling that you must ultimately settle for this exploitative, over-priced system that leaves you with little choice. The Livestock Exchange was exactly the opposite. Let me start by saying do NOT judge this book by its cover. The location is outside of downtown Omaha with a parking lot full of free parking. The historic building has hidden on the 10th floor, stunningly beautiful and wonderfully restored ballrooms with gorgeous windows spanning the height of the room. They have 2 ballrooms which made for a perfect flow. We held the ceremony in one ballroom and guests afterword flowed freely into the reception ballroom where premade signature cocktails were already poured, and a team of professional bartenders awaited the crowd. There was no need to shuffle people around to reset the room. There was no bottle neck at the bar waiting to get a drink. Cocktail hour led into dinner hour and the table service was outstanding only to be matched by the food which was made by Livestock in their commercial kitchen. Food was served fresh and hot and was delicious - something you have come not to expect at a wedding. Joe and his lovely staff were so accommodating. They met OUR needs and wishes as opposed to us having to conform to their way of doing things. From set up - working around our schedule, to takedown - allowing us to come in the next day, they made everything so very easy. It allowed us to enjoy the whole day - beginning to end without having to worry about a tight schedule or timeline. Joe and his staff including Betty and Mary were truly wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough.”

“Awesome rink! It is small but homey and well run. It’s an older rink but clean and well taken care of. The staff is always very helpful. This place has a liquor license so if you play beer league hockey, you just buy the beer there instead of having to stop elsewhere prior to getting to the rink.”

Cynthia is a woman that knowns and is about business which I appreciate. She was very helpful and even in the stretch of things she was understanding. “Exceptional and kind staff. Very clean and accommodating great location. However, I’ve never heard of a hot tub closing at 8 PM and the pool. So if you check in at four, and you’re only there for one night and you get to the pool by six well you do the math.”
“Attended an awards ceremony here. Super cool place. The design of the space feels retro in a way that's classy and timeless. Because it was winter, it was already dark by the time I got there and I didn't get a very good chance to see the view. Not sure if the food was their regular menu or special banquet food, it was mostly heavy appetizers. It was all good, but nothing too special. The fried ravioli had meat inside and was not labeled, a vegetarian friend unknowingly bit into one - that was not great. Food was a buffet but servers were friendly and attentive to clearing tables. The christmas lights added a lot to the vibe; it gave it such a magical feel like walking into an old movie scene. There were some sections where it seemed the lighting was a little harsh rather than moody, but I was lucky enough not to be sitting in any of them.”

“My family and I have been parish members from day 1. (50 years). While the church was being built masses were held in the gym at Sandoz Elementary next door....Archbishop Sheehan ordered a new parish for Southwest Omaha because Mary Our Queen wasn't large enough to handle everyone anymore. Father Pat (McCaslin)was the second priest after Father Schwab retired. Father Pat, since retired has been our "family priest" ever since his days at St. Therese's in NE Omaha.The parish closed about 10 years ago. We would sometimes have family masses in my grandparents home. Family members could just walk in their home.....Even Father Pat just walked in. Just an FYI.....Mass times have changed. Weekday masses are still at 9 am. Weekend masses are a 5:30 pm vigil on Saturday's, 7:30 and 10:30 am on Sunday's.....”

“What a perfect place to host our event. We had about 75 people. Between the inside and outside, everything flowed perfectly. The history of the place was cool too. The bar setting, tabletops, lighting, and overall aesthetic provided the perfect backdrop and everyone raved at how perfect the spot was. Marissa and her staff were absolutely wonderful. They took the best care of everyone and communicated promptly in the lead up. Can’t say enough great things about the place. Next time we plan anything, Hall 31 will be at the top of the list!”
