“I’m from Brazil, and we have a traditional dish called feijoada, in which we use bacon in pieces and fry some pieces of pork belly to serve with it. Haven’t found both items in the region until a friend told me about Johnnie’s. We not only found what we wanted but also met Kent, a very friendly guy who welcomed and served us. We recommended this place to some Brazilian friends looking for the same stuff, and hope to be back to fill the fridge with these guys again!”

They’re the ones cutting the meat, answering questions, making recommendations, and often checking you out at the register. Whether I’m buying steaks for a special dinner, pork chops for the grill, or something for a family gathering, the quality is always outstanding. More importantly, I know the people behind the counter genuinely care about what they’re selling and the customers they’re serving. The Quad Cities is fortunate to have a local business like Jerry’s Market. They’ve earned my loyalty, my referrals, and now this review.
