Not only do they focus on what is best for the customer, but they also strive to be environmentally friendly with their processes and even their window display options. I love that they have a give back program that allows customers to donate their credit or give directly to accounts to help those who may need extra assistance updating their wardrobe. Shopping here is more than just a new outfit, it starts a trickle down effect through our whole community!”

“I've loved the Depot since I was a kid. I go often. My only two suggestions are to stop throwing away so many good donations (I've peeked- nice toys, household goods, etc thrown that MAYBE have a spot of dirt but otherwise are fine) and work on some of the pricing a bit. This past week I've seen period pads on the body care section that are older than I am, but in the dumpster there has been name brand, full, new lotion and perfumes. Very confusing. Most of the pricing is great-particularly the books and media prices which beat out everywhere else which I love- but every now and then I see something overpriced by quite a bit. Like a vintage 80s toy that I assume they think is very collectible, but it isn't worth $30-50 or whatever, maybe $5-10. I'm not sure if they look up the pricing on some stuff, but if they use eBay they need to look at "recently sold" and do low to high, not "listed for" prices, because those are very different.”

“Two weeks ago, my family and I had the large, emotional task of cleaning out my in-law's home where they had lived for over 60 years. As we packed boxes to prepare for a sale, we made the decision to donate many of the items. I made a phone call to Goodwill in Decorah, asking if they would accept a rather large number of household goods, and they cheerfully said yes and thanked us for asking ahead of time, as we were bringing part of a large truck-full, and they wanted to be sure to have staff on hand. When we arrived, we had the help of so many, but specifically Richard (who headed up the drop-off), as well as Martha and Amy who were delightful! As you can see in the photo, this is a group of hard-working individuals, and it was a pleasure. Thanks to all of you for your kind and efficient work!”
