Great grooming experience with both cats. Were able to handle a cat who hates brushing and nail trims and were able to give her a lions cut.My only concern is the place isn't accessible due to a step to get in. However the place is trying to figure out how to make it Accessible for clients in wheelchairs even though the landlord won't fix it.I highly recommend Smitten Kitten

Took my cat in today for his grooming appointment here and I’m very happy with how he turned out. The staff was fantastic, explained everything that was going on, and of course - took great care of my kitty. They had a great selection of items just for cats too. It’s great that Des Moines has a shop for just cats and I’m glad I finally found it.

My husband took our cat, Lola, in because her long fur was full of mats. This was the first time we went there. The lady who took care of her did a WONDERFUL job!! We will be back!!!

Took our shop cats here and they did great. They couldn’t do 1 of them because she was anxious but would def go back and recommend to others.

Had my first smitten kitten experience today, and I want to say, these ladies are AMAZING! I went in to get my adult cats talons clipped and capped. I was concerned about taking him because he's EXTREMELY aggressive. They had him back and ready to go in NO TIME. Very VERY pleased with the service, affordable too. Would definitely recommend!

sure it was a little bit of time to make an appointment and get in but it was well worth it. They cleaned up my late teenager and He eventually got hairstyle, and just loves it as do I. I’m so happy that someone like you exist in this area I couldn’t do it by myself. Thank you!

Very good with my nervous cat. She looked absolutely beautiful and fluffy. No dogs barking she seemed very ok with the whole process.
