Cottage by the Creek was established in May 1999 by Billy Burns and Cinda Yates. It is a one of a kind boutique that offers unique lines of clothing - jewelry - accessories, as well as seasonal, home decor, florals - kitchen and garden, with a nice mix of vintage. Find beautiful table cloths from April Cornell and hand painted cloths from Couleur Nature. It’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that tucked into a cottage by Warford Creek in Saylor Towhship just one block north of the Des Moines city limits at Sixth Ave.

A nice store that is now inside Valley West Mall. The owner was very friendly and helpful and I was able to find a couple colorful last minute Christmas gifts for my parents.
