Glory hallelujah for Fleet Feet! I had traveled to Des Moines with my husband who was participating in the National Senior Games. Six weeks earlier I had an Achilles repair. Two days before the trip I got released from my boot back to shoes. However, the shoes I chose for the trip were too snug on my Achilles and i was miserable. In 10 minutes, after a foot scan and a gait evaluation, I had my feet in a wonderful new shoe with an insert to help with my high arch and I was able to walk again and was in much better spirits! Thanks Fleet Feet for making this trip so much more comfortable!

I’m pregnant and have been experiencing shin splints and tightness with my well-loved running shoes due to my feet expanding. I came into Fleet Feet without an appointment, and it turned out to be the first day of the marathon training group. Even though the store was busy, the staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. William worked with me individually, patiently asking why I was there, what I was looking for, and thoroughly explaining the scan results. He listened carefully to my feedback on each pair and used his expertise to find the perfect shoes for me. I’m so grateful to be able to continue my pregnancy feeling like I can stay active and move without pain.
The sweetest surprise came when William casually asked if I knew my baby’s gender and then gifted me a pair of baby boy shoes at checkout. This thoughtful gesture was so unexpected, and I’ve been telling everyone I know about the experience. Fleet Feet just gained a lifelong customer.
