Stopped in quick to use the restroom. After I used the restroom and washed my hands the clerk literally asked me to move the trashcan so the restroom door would be propped open. Do I work here? Or do you? Won’t be back. Needless to say, I had to re-wash my hands after I completed my chores.

My car broke down so I parked it at this location was only till end of day. Tony the day cashier was really nice but the store manager was rude so was corporate. The store manager had my car towed off labeled as an abandoned car.

This handy little convenience store sits just north of the Roosevelt Shopping Center providing an opportunity to pick up any additional supplies you may need after picking up baked goods or charcuterie.Inventory is usually fresher than similar stores thanks to the heavy student traffic, and consists of the usual packed quick-n-easy snack foods. There is no fresh food available aside from the morning donuts, which are pretty good. Staff here has been friendly over the years, but that may just be my bias showing through as I find myself stopping in regularly. Check them out for yourself and get back to me. Things to know:* This store is near the Roosevelt High School and a Papa John's pizza. Be aware that there is a lot of pedestrian traffic in the area in the morning, lunch time, and mid/late afternoon.* Release the kraken! There is a fun mural on the building nextdoor overlooking the Git-n-Go parking lot.

The cashiers will sit outside and smoke blunts while you wait inside to make a purchase. Regular occurrence here.

2/4 pumps don't work. I've been there on 3 occasions this month. The female employee that's suppose to be behind the counter is always outside on her phone. I didn't even realize she worked there until she finally came in. She didn't even get off the phone today while serving me so I could ask her why the pump doesn't work. Kind of ridiculous.

the employees always post a sign on the door saying closed will reopen soon but it’s just so they can go take a smoke break out back, and often times the cashier is on the phone being obnoxious and will finish up their call before ringing me up. not to mention they always have the highest gas prices compared to everywhere else

The man working the shift of October 1st @7:25 PM decided to make comments based on my little sister’s appearances about whether or not they would be using an EBT card. He asked them “I’m guessing you’re using an EBT card?” as a judgement and whether or not they were doesn’t say anything other than there’s a lot of kids with extra support to feed everyone. When I called assuming it wouldn’t be a problem again, he proceeded to tell me he didn’t know what I was talking about and was calling the police. The disrespect is what made the call happen and I told him I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be a problem again. Nothing more nothing less. Extremely immature and irresponsible. the git n go on 42nd in Des Moines across from hubbel elementary. My sisters are elementary age and middle school age and My family will not tolerate that. He also decided to bring political things up to my mexican father that were prejudice towards him and our family. Do something about it before it’s another problem.

The store manager is nice. But tonights cashier is worthless. I will not visit this location anymore do to this cashier. Walked in at 12:08am. The store used to be open until 1am. I understand they might have changed their hours but post something on the doors. Don't come from taking a nap in the bathroom while your boyfriend watches the door for you. An then to be rude because your closed. I will no longer frequent this store. I have never meet a more worthless cashier then this one.

If I could give them a -10 or something I would!!! Lady just refused to let my 8 year old daughter use the restroom stating it was closed for the evening because she had to smoke!! Total BS
