About Grace United Methodist Church
Grace United Methodist Church is a progressive and inclusive faith community in the heart of Des Moines. Led by an openly LGBTQ pastor, Grace is committed to radical hospitality, social justice, and spiritual growth. Our ministries include free community meals, a medical clinic, a community fridge, support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families, youth and children’s programs, and regular worship services that are open to all.

Best preschool in Des Moines! The teachers are amazing- so nurturing, kind, and supportive. Also, they utilize project based learning, which caters to the interests of the students with a focus on curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Highly recommend this preschool.

It is a blessing to be part of such a welcoming and affirming congregation. Ever since my husband and I arrived at Grace UMC we have been graciously received and supported. They proclaim “Grace is for everyone!” And they mean it!
