People in the paint depart need to stop huffing the paint. My lanta.... It was the most painful experience of my life. It would be faster to drive to a different town to buy paint, let alone a different store.
Edit: just realized "Kit" didn't include the Behr paint pour spouts either. Bless her heart.

Had a customer service issue on 02/11/25. Went to the SE 14th store in Des Moines to get it taken care of, or get the best advice.
The issue was handled fast and promptly, with a friendly smile. Even asked me afterwards if there was anything else I needed assistance with. Wow, what service in a home improvement store!!
I have been to menards, lowes, and other Home depot's in the west des moines and urbandale area (where I usually shop), and never, never have I received friendly service like I did yesterday. just wow! This was the first time I shopped at this location. So, it was a great first impression.
It is with good reason, that I will be shopping at this location from now on! I dont care if I have to drive a little extra miles! thank you Griselda (person who assisted me), and the SE 14th home depot!!

The store manager was very helpful and patient and the employees really helped out! Nice people! We had a big order and it took awhile to process it and the worked with us on the price! The best home depot around! Great employees and store manager! Will be going there more offen than menards for now on! We were menards people before but we've became home depot customers now!!! They're the best!

Earlier today our garbage disposal broke. My husband and I came in and a older gentlemen helped us and with his advise saved me about an hours worth of work. I wish I got his name but he did say he was a plumber. He's honestly the goat and should get a pay raise!

Jim and Jake were amazing. I called in to check a just placed online order that I needed sooner than expected and they were quick and friendly and able to fulfill the order within the hour. Lovely crew that helped a lot.

I was banned from this store for like 3 years because I stole a flashlight (my bad) but like bro 3 years for a portable lightbulb is wild because I was in a pinch and needed to fix my car and couldn’t with quick tools :(
